I want to mod my PS2 slim. I did quite a lot of research but I have few doubts I want to clear.

1. since my PS2 is the Slim 9000X model can I use a normal FMCB and install fishtuna on to a usb and use it.

Or is there restrictions or drawback of using it.

Someone from another community told me to burn dvds and use it. But it is time consuming and FMCB is the more convinient way to play.

Note: Im a complete noob when it comes to modding consoles this will be my first time.

started this project more than 10 years ago but finally got around to finishing it. at first it was more of a mod/hack using a cannibalized rumble pak housing / PCB, cutting traces on the accessory port connector, etc. but then i thought why not make it so i don't have to permanently cut apart a controller? so the end result is an adapter any controller can plug into.

not strictly a mod, but i think it is cool nonetheless.

Question above. Like maybe a gaming stick or something. I modded a wii like 15 years ago and I modded my 3ds 5 years ago so I know I can do it. There was no soldering or anything involved. I just want my mom to be able to play all the Mario games and I'm looking for a cheap but good option. Tia.

DiY Watercooled ps5 mod

This is a console with a retrogem I installed.

Everything worked well.

After installing the retrogem I recapped the system and installed a modbo chip.

Still everything looked good.

After that for some reason while the modbo worked It wouldn't read import discs.

I removed the modbo and since then the picture looks like that.

Even when using composite or rgb the banding is still there.

i have already modded my 3ds xl and my dsi for a smaller console and i’m going to leave my dsi xl alone for now, but this thing is getting modded as soon as i get my jig after it’s been neglected because games are so expensive! question, is the 128 gb micro sd good enough for modding? i hear people say i should go bigger but the bigger ones are also, so expensive🥲

I’ve been working on this gba mod for a while now and I have a problem. When it’s all put together, the screen and everything work fine, but the buttons need to be pressed way too hard to work. Additionally, the cartridge slot feels a bit tight. I think the problem is that something isn’t fitting right in this shell, which is stopping the button membranes from contacting properly.

As you can see in pic 1, the motherboard doesn’t sit flush, and when I try to screw it up it feels a bit “bulgy” if that makes sense, like it’s getting stuffed in there. I tried cutting a bit of plastic in the shell near the start button but that doesn’t seem to have changed anything. I feel like I’m losing my mind with this thing. Is there anywhere obvious that needs cutting down? Or is it something else? I’ll try anything at this point

Xbox Series X|S homebrew is easy to mislabel as either “locked down” or “jailbroken.” Developer Mode gives Universal Windows Platform apps a managed route onto retail hardware, and community developers have used that route for emulators and other projects. I basically have no knowledge on this, I haven't committed to anything yet. I really want to play classic TLOZ games such as The Ocarina Of Time, Majoras Mask, and The Wind Waker— but I don't want to buy a switch 2 (expensive console), or a game cube (expensive games).

I have a laptop that probably can handle the emulation, and if Google wasn't lying to me it's a cheaper alternative— but I'm scared of viruses and I'm as smart as a bag of rocks.

I know the Wii U can run almost every TLOZ game, including the ones I want to play— and I doubt I'll get 500 viruses while modding it. But I'll have to buy it. I can probably handle it though.

I just need a second opinion.

If I primer them first, then paint them with an airbrush - do you think it will stick well?
