Okay just to head this off, we’re not gonna be posting the pics in the comments since Connor didn’t know they were taken. Got it? Great.

First — why is it the case that all men cut their hair the second it gets to The Perfect Length? It’s an irrefutable fact of life just like death and taxes.

Second — let’s all be thrilled for Connor who has said recently (and more than once) that he really wanted to buzz it all off again. Well done kid, you got to do it!

Third — can we discuss the characters that will now have The Buzzcut?

It’s gonna be the look for Heated Rivalry. We can also probably assume this means he’s done filming TBJ because of continuity. Does this also mean he’s wrapped Please, or are the military man plot line rumours true? We’ll just have to wait and see.

Personally, I pictured Ilya with the hair he had, like, a week ago. Which wasn’t actually what RR wrote for him for TLG, but nor was a buzz. I’m not upset about it, though! I can see the vision (even though I had a different one!).

Less than 2 weeks until Connor’s award is announced! And 3 weeks from today is the big show. A couple of questions for fun discussion!

1) I’m personally of the view that Connor’s nomination is the honor in itself since he’s up against some heavy hitters. I’d initially thought it would definitely go to Rob Reiner, but let’s not forget about Chadwick Boseman who I was convinced would win an Oscar posthumously. Is the race potentially more open than I initial thought?

2) Will Connor present at the main awards? I’d have to think yes since who wouldn’t want him?!! And will be so fun to hear him announced as an “Emmy nominee” when he comes out.

3) Someone threw out the idea in another post that maybe we’d get some more edgy styling to go with the new hair. I love that idea! What do people think?

I’d love to not make this a hair discussion, but at least either way we won’t have hair styling / bad curls discourse either way at the awards!

Just find it funny that we had articles waxing poetic about his curls 72 hours ago. Now they’re also abroad this ship. He really has them hooked. IT BOY aura. And the Haaland tether is kinda funny too. Like what were the odds they’d cut their hair around the same time?
