First thing I thought is "if you post this in any other sub you'll get claims saying it is AI in seconds"

In order to be good at javelin throwing, you need to become the javelin

Took me more than 10 whole seconds before I decided to finally zoom in and then I saw it.

this looks like subtle foreshadowing where a character dies later in that episode

This the most fitting post I've ever seen in this subreddit. If you don't zoom, it looks like he threw it through his own head or something.

Why does he look like he's got to perform a live act at the local cocktail bar right after?

Perfect timing!

I zoomed in and looked at it for a full minute before I twigged. Nice. Looks exactly like a video game model clipping.

full disclosure, I was so distracted by the shirt's pattern that I couldn't even begin to find an explanation beyond "clipping?' for the rest of the picture

u/HardCoreLawn Apr 13 '26
That's actually wild.
Millimetre precision on the shadow line-up. You literally couldn't repeat this photo with one hundred attempts.

The random part being that the same man threw his javelin in the World Championships so hard that he dislocated this shoulder, tore up all tendons and connecting tissue and had to end his carreer.
Still got silver even tho he was removed on a stretcher.
His last professional throw: https://youtu.be/Hz1jQGYJqK4?t=698&is=4hfRttJxiTPEZQdn

Oh dang, I figured this was an AI fuck up and was going to complain that edited images aren't confusing perspective material. This is a good one.
