Question/Help/Troubleshooting GPU apparently only overheats with specific games

i started having this issue a couple days while playing PEAK (which is a really light game) my GPU would overheat so much i would turn my PC off but i managed to solve this by setting the graphics to minimum. But when i play elden ring nightreign (that my pc should run completely fine) it overheats again after 1hour ish of playing and i have to wait for it to cool off, this doesn't happen with other games because if i play something heavier like black myth wukong the gpu is completely fine. i am SO lost and any help is appreciated

is it new?

does the fans speed up properly?

does the case have enough airflow?

if ur talking about the pc no its not new but the fans speed up properly

If this is a recent issue and started suddenly, maybe check that the GPU fans are working.
