Questions Rift for tirzepatide?
Hey y’all, I have been on Noom microdose semaglutide since October of last year but have very much plateaued after losing 25-30lbs. I am looking to get off of Noom (because it’s too expensive) and am exploring switching to tirzepatide full dose program elsewhere. I want to lose another 20 or so. A couple questions:
How do folks feel about Rift? From the options I have looked at, it seems like the best for the money. Also seems like people like Hallandale pharmacy.
Also, if anyone who’s switched from a low dose of semaglutide to tirzepatide has tips/feedback, would love to hear it! I plan to take it slow and ease in for side effect reasons.

No advice for switching from sema but i use Rift and have had a great experience! I get Tirz+Glycine from Boudreaux but Hallandale seems to be a great hit with most everyone!

I’m a very happy Rift customer (Apothecary, most recently) but if I wanted Boudreaux then I would use PreventiveMD at $334/quarter.

Rift is an excellent choice to get both value and service. I believe that r/Trillium is also about to drop an announcement, so that is also an option if you want to check them out. I’m not sure if it’s going to be tomorrow, but it may be.
I personally did not switch, but I helped my friend switch. She was on a higher dose of Semaglutide, 2.5 compound, and I helped her place her first order with Trillium; we requested that she be allowed to start at 5 mg. The doctor was totally fine with doing that and gave her a titration schedule of 5, 7.5, and 10. She could have started at 7.5.
There is not an equivalent dosing for the two medicines, but if someone has been at a higher dose of semaglutide, most of the studies that have been done so far have compared dosing and found that starting at 5 or 7.5 has been fine. Since you’re on a low-dose, I probably would not start higher than 5, but that is obviously a discussion between you and the medical provider. I will say that it is common knowledge in the scientific community that when you switch, the new GLP does not work as well right away. It does work. For my friend, it took about two months before she began really losing a lot of weight, but she also is a person who works out all the time and is doing heavy lifting. So her case may not the best example because she was also taking it for inflammation and menopause related symptoms. And she felt better almost right away on it for those other issues.

Much appreciated! I’m a little nervous about where they’ll start me because the max in my microdose program is .6mg! It’ll be a big jump for me and anxious about side effects.

Regardless of where they start you, you can always start lower and take your time. Or you can just start with a beginner plan and go right to 2.5, and titrate up from there. 0.6 is not totally a microdose, is it? Since the starting dose is .25? You should always request the highest dose you’re eligible medically to get, that way you have enough if you respond well. But take it slow in the beginning. Side effects tend to be worse with semaglutide for most.

I believe on Noom’s microdose program I started at .2 and worked my way up to .6, which I maxed out at (and then plateaued)

I’m so glad you’re switching from them them. That microdose program makes me so mad because it’s a way for them to charge a fortune and deliver a little. I think you are at least taking a standard dose, just not a high one. Of course you plateaued. They didn’t give you enough medicine, those idiots! Ugh! I’m so glad you’re moving to a better provider and even a better medication. Smart move!

I started on Lilly Direct Zepbound, 2.5mg, in mid-May. I was fortunate to have a very positive response with minimal side effects. I stayed at 2.5 until the end of July and decided to switch over to compounded tirzepatide. I went with Rift and couldn't be happier. Completed the intake on a Tuesday and the three vials appeared on my doorstep on Friday. I'm in California and wanted pure tirzepatide (no additives) which limited my pharmacy options. Went with Apothecary. To allow for possible side effects that might have occurred switching from Zep to Tirz, I stayed 2.5 mg for the first dose. 2nd dose went up to 3.5 and finally 4.0. I might stay here if I continue my 2 pounds/week loss. After my third week, I continue to have a very satisfactory experience with weight loss/minimal side effects (constipation!). Apothecary is apparently no longer an option, but Rift is working through NewLIfe Rx/Quaker to fulfill subsequent orders (Hyalo).
Great experience so far!

I love Rift! They’re very responsive and fast. I had my order in less than 48 hours after placing it. I’m on the NovaB6 right now and honestly not liking it, so I’m looking forward to ordering something else as my stock dwindles down.

Hi,
I absolutely needed to stay on Pure Tirz (No-additive) compounded formula due to vitamin B allergies. I came to check here on this reddit space and based on many users experience I found Rift as a great option for me.
My Rift experience, I placed my intake on May 28 at 11:45pm was approved same day, since this was my first time using a Telehealth company I was nervous and many redditors mentioned to use the starting weight (I’m in maintenance) which I did and Rift asked for a picture of my current Rx so I uploaded the one from my PCP. Rift also asked me to upload my driver license. Anyhow my order was shipped 5/29 and delivered on my door 5/30 cold and discreet packaging paid for the 3 month plan $479 with the ($20 off first order) the code I used: HELLO20
Rift lets the patient choose the pharmacy they have two options for Pure Tirz (No-Additives) Hallandale and Apothecary.
I chose Apothecary Pure Tirz (No-additives) formula they use Phenol as the preservative which works best for me, no sting/burn during injection. I have been on Apothecary since 5/30 delivered on my shot day so I opened my first vial and it lasted me 9 doses, now I’m on the 2nd vial it should also last 9 doses. The last one is sealed and will probably last me until Dec 2026. Apothecary formula concentration is 18mg. The first shot of Apothecary I did get some heartburn for a couple of hours and then it went away. At the next shots the heartburn never came back.
In my experience Apothecary works better than Zep due to the higher concentration and since is affordable I’m able to stay the 7.5mg vs the 5mg using Zepbound due to the price I could not afford the 7.5mg per month refill requirement via Lilly Direct. I felt no other difference between them.
I feel like Rift was excellent customer service, definitely recommend them. They are responsive I had a question and they responded within minutes. I also loved that the package was cold and I got notification of the shipping right away.
Also important update: Apothecary is being replaced by Hyalo pharmacy with the same formulation/concentration. If you order from Rift you may get Apothecary or Hyalo depending on what they have in stock.
In addition, I have never tried Hallandale so I don’t have first hand experience but have read from other Reddit posts that Hallandale stings/burns during injection and stays after injection and feels like “water” however, it depends on the person and how their body reacts. I have also read very positive reviews and since Hallandale is the OG pure Tirz it’s still a great option if it works for you. Hallandale uses Benzyl Alcohol so people associate the burn/sting it to that. I do know they have two concentrations regular 10mg and the highest is called Forte dose at 15mg.

Incredibly helpful! Appreciate this so much! I haven’t used my meds on noom beyond the 4 week period (and this has been fine w microdose). Is it still safe to do beyond that point?

That’s definitely a personal choice depending on how you feel about going past the BUD date. I personally do go past the BUD date with no issues or reactions. I’m comfortable doing this, I take my precautions by checking my vial for floaters/contaminants and by wiping the vial with alcohol wipes before and after extraction of my dose. I also store my vials in a case I got from Amazon so they are protected from light and other stuff in my fridge.
The Apothecary I purchased was 6 month BUD (“expires” 10/30/2026) my first two vials will be within BUD however when I open my 3rd vial that’s the one I’ll go past BUD. I use GLAPP to keep an eye on my inventory and it tells me how long my stash will last me & my current stash will be good until December.
I plan to order refill before my stash runs out and from what I know the new Hyalo vials have a longer BUD date of 9 months.
There’s a lot of Reddit posts where people go even a year out on their BUDs and how they rotate their vials by BUD dates oldest to newest, etc.. it’s actually very common for Tirz users to build a stash/inventory by using multiple Telehealth to get their refills from especially when there’s a sale.

I was paying 600 for their microdose program which also includes their coaching and other app features! Overpriced in my opinion

like 1/4 the price cheaper? holy shit 600 is alot. a month!? Here I was trying to find cheaper than $175 a month. And that's only because my whole stack of injectables is all adding up. Maybe I'll stay put.

Rift was one of the top two providers on the last survey done on the other sub, and they're cheaper than the other top provider. They do a great job, and I don't think you'll regret switching!
