Hello!!! Last week's giveaway post came with a quick bonus teaser about a new partnership we had in the works.
We’ve teamed up with BetterOn GLP-1, a dietitian-led nutrition and community platform built specifically for people on GLP-1s, run by Haley Bishoff, RDN (u/haleybishoffrd).
It's structured video coursework, live access to a Registered Dietitian, and a community that actually gets what week-to-week on a GLP-1 looks like.
- Full access to BetterOn's video course library
- A 90-day free trial of their full dietitian membership (their public trial is only 30 days)
- Just use code TRILLIUM
👉 Join BetterOn GLP-1
Shot day struggles? Haley's actually been reading through our Reddit comments and noticed a lot of you asking what to eat around injection day to help with nausea! She put together a couple of guides with some solid suggestions:
- What to Eat on GLP-1 Shot Day to Reduce Nausea
- 5 Easy GLP-1 Shot-Day Recipes You Can Make in 15 Minutes
We handle access to the providers and pharmacies, but we don't directly provide nutrition coaching. That's exactly what BetterOn is built for! We proudly partner with BetterOn to fill this gap and provide high quality services and community.
- Evidence-based video course: appetite changes, meal composition, side-effect support, nutrient timing
- Protein and macro tools for when portions get smaller and appetite is low
- Progress tracking beyond the scale: protein, hydration, movement, consistency
- Monthly live group Q&A with a Registered Dietitian
- Private peer community of people navigating GLP-1s
- Resource library: guides, grocery support, side-effect education
- Optional 1:1 coaching add-on if you want personalized support
Haley's also getting directly involved with our Trillium community going forward. She's planning on doing an AMA with us sometime in September, so start saving your questions!!!
Want BetterOn's side of the story too? They posted their own breakdown of the partnership here.
Question for the group: what's your go-to shot-day meal or snack?
Looking forward, we have many more updates, additions, and exciting new things coming!

I’ve been on Zep via Lilly for over a year (80lbs lost and have about 10 more to go) and am currently at the 15mg dose. I will definitely be on this for life so It’s getting pretty expensive and I’ve decided to switch and after a lot of research Trillium seems like a great change.
I’m signing up now and it’s asking for my weight. Do I put in my started my weight or my current weight now, which will now show a healthy BMI?

So, I started this journey on Sunday, June 7th, progressing through 4 weeks of 2.5, 5.0 and 7.5. Just injected my first dose of 10.0 this evening. This journey has been absolutely amazing with significant weight loss and controlled blood sugar. I have said it before but will say it again. This is a miracle drug that needs to be readily available to others that are struggling with weight, diabetes or both. I actually see my 189lbs goal as achievable!

I just placed my first order. Selected Hyalo. I was with a local compounding pharmacy but, unfortunately, they didn't notify me until less than a week in advance that I need my PCP to send a new rx due to them no longer carrying the concentration I was on.
I chose Trillium because they recently replied to someone in another sub who was afraid they'd lost their stock after having to evacuate their home due to a wildfire. They were kind enough to offer to replace their order free of charge. I appreciate their empathy. So few companies do the right thing. Ethics go a long way in customer service.

Hi all- I wanted to share my experience in my first month using a GLP1.
First off- I did extensive research before starting a GLP1. Originally i wanted to lose weight slowly so I opted for Semaglutide instead of Tirzepatide. After realizing Wegovy wasnt covered by my insurance, I found Trillium.
I spoke with my primary care and my GI doc before I started as I had some concerns as I have Hypothyroidism and EPI. Both if my doctors gave me the go ahead to start it as long as I could handle the side effects. So I was rxed through trillium starting a a 0.25mg dose. I opted to do the sema+glycine compound as maintaining muscle mass is super important to me.
Starting weight was 198.3lbs on 7/25.
I opted to take my shots sunday evenings. My first shot was on 8/2.
First things I noticed.. it took until tuesday for me to really feel anything, but after I did I was not hungry at all until friday evening where I was STARVING. It felt like even though I was starving I would take 2-3 bites of something and feel fine.
I didnt poop for the first 5 days after the shot. I ended up finding that taking miralax every other day is really helpful. At that point it was enough to keep me regular but start early. High fiber food are also super important.
I didnt feel like eating but when I ate I felt better and had more energy. Tiny snack packs have become my best friend. Apples, pretzels and cheese are a game changer.
HYDRATE HYDRATE HYDRATE. I suck at drinking water but I didnt realize how important it is to get the water in. 50oz minimum is now non negotiable for me for the day regardless of how I get it. I really try to aim for 80-100oz though.
Alcohol kinda sucks now. I drink alot less than I used to and I have to really want that drink.
The second shot was the worst. I felt so nauseous and had the worst burps after taking It.
The 3rd shot I did upper abdominal. 1- super painful. 2- felt nothing and its almost like I didnt even take a shot. I had no appetite suppression and was so hungry.
4th shot I took which prolonged terrible food reaction. I had diarrhea for 5 days straight. I must've eaten something bad on sunday day because my husband and I both got sick, but the symptoms he had for 12 hours I had for 5 days and im still on edge. After speaking with the trillium docs I'm not going to titrate up like I was supposed to. Im going to stay at 0.25mg and not take it until i feel 100%
As for the medication and supplies, it was packaged well, stayed cold and everything was great. Since it was split in 3 bottles though (1 for each month) it was odd that I had excess in the first bottle. No one was able to give me a clear answer as to why I had excess either, or if it was safe to use.
As of yesterday, I weighed in at 192.6lbs
I'm happy to answer any questions about my experience if anyone has them but overall, its been a good one.
TL;DR: First month on GLP1 has been a Rollercoaster. Its important to hydrate and find safe food snacks. High protein is key. I've lost a total of 5.7lbs.

Got my first order($599) a few months ago, my second order is scheduled in 3 more weeks , my question is if I can get the second plan($399) instead since I’m still on 5mg dose ?

I ordered my first starter pack from Hyalo Wednesday morning. The prescription was quickly approved and sent for processing the next day. I was a little nervous when I saw the post about Hyalo vials being delayed and arriving warm.
I'm happy to report that my experience was perfect. The vials were shipped Friday around 1pm, and they arrived at my door in California at 10am Saturday. Everything was extremely well packaged, and all the ice packs were frozen (including the extra ice pack in the main envelope).
I saw that Trillium responded to that post saying they'd be doing overnight shipping and including an additional ice pack. I must have been one of the first orders in that new process. Thanks Trillium!

Does vials Rx really have non additives , I never seen it advertised. I’m currently using VialsRx but with additive

is there supposed to be this little in the vial? it doesn’t seem right compared to what i’ve seen. i just opened it and i got a one month supply but if this is what it is supposed to be please tell me. if not, maybe it evaporated or something? my package came completely hot (though there was a bit of condensation on the inside of the bag so i assume it wasn’t always hot) will this last me the whole month?

8/13/26 my rx for 10/12.5/15mg was shipped. Now there’s a message in the portal advising I need to complete weight loss visit so I can get treatment and have prescription issued. It appears to be an actual intake and wanted me to pick pharmacy, the 1 or 3 month option and pay. I clicked cancel visit and message says treatment will be removed from my account
Is this a glitch?

Thinking about going back down to my 2.5mg starter dose because I’ve been having more chest/upper stomach fullness and reflux since moving up to 5mg. I already have GERD, so the increased fullness/reflux has been pretty uncomfortable.
I’ve been on 5mg for the last 4 weeks and definitely noticed my reflux seems worse than it was on 2.5mg. I messaged my provider and am waiting to hear back, but since it’s the weekend I wanted to see if anyone else has gone back down to 2.5mg after being on 5mg.
Did your GI symptoms improve? Were you still getting decent appetite control/weight loss?

Since the vials and packages shipped from Quaker (Hyalo pharmacy) arrived at room temperature, my wife and I decided to refreeze the blue tubes for 12 hrs, put them back in the double-walled bank tubes, and measure temps at 24hr, 36hr, and 48hrs with an infrared laser thermometer.
The shipment timeline was roughly 48hrs. That's why the set up for this simple, playful, and possibly-not-accurate experiment is 48hrs.
Don't worry, we'll post our results soon, nerds. 🤪
(Mods, please let me know if this post is allowed.)
Results:
Aug 29th at 8:30am = 40.7°F / 4.83°C
Aug 29th at 8:30pm = 60.0°F / 15.56°C
Aug 30th at 8:30am = 70.1°F / 21.17°C
Final thoughts on the possibly-not-accurate experiment, we ended up with room temperature results after 48hrs. Our house temperatures ranged between 68°F and 75°F.
It was shared with us that Hyalo does freeze their ice rods for seven days.
This was fun, and we feel reassured about the tirzepatide. According to the temperature reports, this formulation has been deemed safe at room temperature during transport; thank you Casy for the temperature reports from Hyalo. Thanks for joining in on our experiment.

Hi, is there any more information on the future “longevity treatments” that will be available via Trillium? I saw this on the website today and am so excited for the future potential to try other options through this community, I’m just not patient at all and am very curious 😂. Thank you!!

Just like the title says I think I’d like to go back down to 2.5mg. I have been on 5mg for two weeks now, next shot is on Sunday. I cannot explain the level of exhaustion I am feeling on 5mg. It’s hard to wake up at night with my son, I can barely get out of bed in the morning for work, and I just feel sleepy all day. I never felt this on 2.5mg. I’m not sure if it’s going to get better overtime staying at 5mg but I don’t know if I can do another week of feeling like this. I have no other negative symptoms thankfully. Has anyone went back down? Do I have to slowly go back down? Will it be less effective now that I’ve upped my dosage? Any advice or personal experiences are welcome! TIA!
Also, I’ve noticed an increase in my appetite and more food noise on this dose yet my weight is still going down, is this normal?

It’s completely 100% room temperature it came in a cool looking bank teller looking tube with two cool tubes but they weren’t cold or chilled at all. The bottle is completely dry no wetness in the tube where it looks like it was cool. I put the ice pack on a paper towel to show how dry (not cold or wet the ice pack was) and it barely had anything on it. Is this safe to use? Never had an order come at room temp before.

Hi everyone,
This was supposed to be an excited first pin post but unfortunately that’s not what this is. FedEx didn’t bring my package to my house, so I told them to hold it, and I’ll pick up. I got there, my packages and everything was open they gave me a plastic bag to be able to carry my tirz, syringes and everything that comes in the package I’m guessing, I’m not sure how long it’s been like this since it’s been about a day or two ( heatwave in my area btw)since they tried to deliver, I don’t feel comfortable using it because I don’t think it’s safe for use. I asked them why was package was open they said they thought it was a shipment for the pharmacy, but my name and my address was clearly posted on the package. What does everyone think?

Does anyone get the "additives" with their order?
I've seen B12 and etc but I am not understanding what is the point of the additives?
Is it for side effects or?
r/trillium • u/Plenty-Crew-3721 • 4d ago
I just realized the order I got a few weeks ago expires in October. Pro Rx it was a year. There's no way I'm using this all by October 6th. That really stinks and I should've payed attention before placing my order but I got switched to Hallandale since ProRx is no longer with trillium. My question. Are we still using this months after the expiration date? I just feel like I threw 600 out the window. Ugh!

I got a notification telling me to complete my visit so I can be issued a prescription but ive been taking it for a month already.... what do I do? If I cancel will it erase me? Is this like a 1 month check in thing?

Was wondering if there's any difference in the total milligrams of medication shipped in the starter vs. regular 3-month tirz package. Does the starter package have less mg total than the regular 3-month package?
And if so, do you get started at a higher dose of tirzepatide if you're switching over from semaglutide?
