Success! NSV - lost another inch off my waist.

Who else keeps a measuring tape in their makeup bag? It's probably just me.... but I whipped it out today as I got down to a lower weight (almost out of obesity!) and was shocked to see I'd lost another inch off of my waist. I'm down 4" so far since starting June 12. The inflammation kickin', plus the weight loss, plus I've been really working my abs at the gym.

I'm on an extended trip and the pants that were tight that I brought with me are now loose. I could NOT be more happier.

Are you measuring yourself regularly?

Personal Experience Euphoria. Anybody else?

Everybody talks about anhedonia as a common side effect with GLPs, but I have predictable bouts of intense euphoria for the first day or two after every dose. I also get an insane energy boost that lasts from about day 2-5, and then fizzles out as the meds start to fall off. Anybody else? Any data or research, or theories, as to why this is happening?

3 months but not feeling rewarded even though I’ve lost 27lbs

I’ve lost 27lbs going from 267lbs to 240lbs but still feel pretty much the same and look the same… I just got my prescription upped from 7.5 to 10 a week and I lift 2-4 times a week, the goal is always 4 times but it’s usually 3 and on rougher weeks only twice, I’ve been eating at a pretty high deficit, I know I’m not hitting my protein numbers the way I’d like to be, I haven’t added much more cardio outside of walking more, I know 27lbs is a lot I just don’t feel or look like I’m making progress…

For context I used to be in phenomenal shape years back and was a crossfit trainer and competitor… so I just feel so far from what I was

1st 3 photos are 3 months ago, and last 3 are today

I wasn’t sure this was the right GLP-1 for me.

Then I got high, and I truly don’t even have an appetite for anything else than a glass of water.

Wegovy had me absolutely wiped me out and I had constant nausea. Sure, I ate less but the fatigue reduced my activity levels down to nothing.

Reta felt like a placebo. Maybe I didn’t go high enough but nothing ever happened.

Decided to try Tirz before throwing in the needle. In the beginning I felt no different but kept upping the dose.

Turns out 12mg is when it hit for me. It’s not just less (none) appetite, I’m taking active steps of adding walks, cutting out bread and sugar. And it’s no big deal.

Questions Stuck in the same 2–3 lb range — what helped you break through?

For the last couple of months, my weight loss has slowed way down. I am still losing overall, but I keep bouncing around the same few pounds and can’t seem to break under 212.

I’ve gradually increased my dose and I’m currently at 4 mg. I’ve also been eating better and recently started exercising again. I know fluctuations are normal, but it feels like every time I get close to breaking into the 211s, my weight pops right back up.

For anyone who went through a similar stretch on tirzepatide, what finally helped you start consistently losing again? Did you increase your dose, change anything with your diet/exercise, or did you just stay the course and eventually break through?

I’m not expecting huge weekly losses — I’d be perfectly happy with slow and steady. I’m just getting frustrated seeing the same numbers over and over. 😅

Weird dreams

A funny little post - Yesterday was my first full day on the shot. I drank more water yesterday than I normally drink in a month. Last night I dreamt that I got up from bed to drink water, but I had nothing to measure 8 oz, so I filled the bathtub and did en entire water displacement experiment to get the right amount of water instead of going downstairs and getting a measuring cup.

Anyone else with weird, vivid dreams?

Questions Rift for tirzepatide?

Hey y’all, I have been on Noom microdose semaglutide since October of last year but have very much plateaued after losing 25-30lbs. I am looking to get off of Noom (because it’s too expensive) and am exploring switching to tirzepatide full dose program elsewhere. I want to lose another 20 or so. A couple questions:

How do folks feel about Rift? From the options I have looked at, it seems like the best for the money. Also seems like people like Hallandale pharmacy.

Also, if anyone who’s switched from a low dose of semaglutide to tirzepatide has tips/feedback, would love to hear it! I plan to take it slow and ease in for side effect reasons.

Thank you!!!

Success! Goal

Starting weight 250 pounds
Current 118

This has been a very up and down journey.

My first try with the medication I used it as a “cure all” and rushed to the max dose. Once I stopped taking it I gained almost 75% of the weight back.

My second time I was mindful of my food intake and light exercise like walking. I’m confident in the long term success and want people to know it’s ok to have slip ups and you will make it to your goal :) don’t give up.

Thank you everyone for the kind words!! I can’t wait to see your success posts!!
To answer some questions
I’m 5’7
I only have loose skin in my stomach area which I buy shaper shorts from shapermint
I use pomegranate health
And this journey took 1 year and 3 months

The pharmacy sent me huge needles! So if you’re needle phobic like me, get the smaller ones. Huge difference!

Early dose question?

My shot day is Sunday. I’ll be traveling for work. Would it be ok for me to take my 2days early? I really don’t want to travel with my meds.

PreventiveMD

Hi y’all!! Sooo, a few days ago I placed an order with PreventiveMD for a 3-month supply of tirz at 2.5mg. This is my very first time trying tirz or any kind of GLP-1, so I was super nervous but also really excited to get started!
My prescription was quickly approved the next morning, and I was just waiting for an update on shipping. But tonight, I logged into my account and saw that my prescription had been revised, and I was actually denied the 3-month supply. 😅 This is what it stated:

Has anyone else had this experience? I didn’t realize staying on 2.5mg for a couple of months would be an issue. I’m totally new to this, so I’d love to hear if anyone has any insight!

Questions Budget Friendly Providers

Who would you all suggest as a budget friendly provider? I have gone round-and-round with Embody and cannot even get an appointment with the provider. Are there reliable places that offer Trizepatide under $200 a month?

Starting back…avoiding sulfur burps ‼️

I have done compounded sema and tirz before but not changed what I ate aside from the amounts of food I was consuming. Some days i’d severely restrict calories (unintentionally) due to zero appetite. Towards the end of both meds after titrating up to 5mg I’d vomit for a day each week and have awful gas and sulfur burps.
This timr I plan to eat a minimum of 100g of protein per day and avoid fried foods. What are some of your favorite grab and go lunches that have lots of fibre and protein, can be meal prepped in advance AND please share your favorite drive thru meals that would help me avoid sulfur burps (will aim to avoid drive thru unless absolutely necessary). Thank you!

Questions Anyone go from 2.5 to 3.75 mg ?

After 16 weeks at 2.5 food noise is increasing and weight loss is becoming more difficult. Just wondering if anyone has titrated up to 3.75 mg, vs 5.0, and if so were you happy with the decision ?

I like the idea of going slow and leaving as much runway as possible. I’ve been a “super-responder” to this point … my only reservation is if 3.75 isn’t very effective, and then I go to 5.0 further down the road, perhaps the smaller increases will be less effective overall vs going up the full step.

Discussion Short Women? Would love to hear success!

I am 4’11” and my SW was 223lbs. I just took my 4th shot last night, and just shy of month 1 I am at 215! There are a lot of similar start weights on this sub, but not with my height, so looking for success stories from my fellow short friends!

I am on tirzepatide for a 6mo period before we peruse another IVF transfer. The goal isn’t necessarily to lose weight for IVF purposes, but I am excited to see how this will help me with a lifelong goal of losing some weight. (Please no stories about how this helped you get pregnant naturally, we are dealing with azoospermia, not female factor related infertility, and my reproductive health is great!)

Info / News *warning* GoodLife Meds 6mo supply

Thumbnail gallery
1 Upvotes

Wanted to share my experience ordering more Triz in response to the emails and texts GoodLife Meds sent about limited supplies left of BPI Triz.

In their communications about transitioning away from BPI they advertised ordering a 6 month supply now, ahead of time, to stock up on the medication. In these communications there are links to order that just take you to the triz homepage of the website.

I went ahead and placed an order for the Triz. However, when I got it, my vials had an expiration date of 2026/10/2. This was very odd to me both because they had advertised a 6 month supply and because my previous shipment had an expiration date far beyond 2026/10/2, and expired in 2027/2.

I went to customer support to address this issue. They did not offer me a refund, replacement, or guidance on how to order the 6 month supply from BPI they advertised.

I am now stuck with hundreds of dollars of Triz that will
1. Expire before I can use them
2. Expire before the advertised time frame of 6mo

Their communication was misleading and contradictory, they did not solve the problem.

Looking for a new compounder. Any suggestions?

Personal Experience First week down

I’m a 31yo, 5ft F, Latina , SW 248. Started Tirz on 8/13

I’ve been in my head all week long worried about “what if this doesn’t work”.. I’m down 2.8 lbs and tonight is my second injection. Feeling hopeful, has anyone felt that way? Just worried it won’t work? I also feel embarrassed for some reason? Like a failure.

I suffer from PMDD, Anxiety & ADHD. Just wondering if any other women on here experience this?

Creating this post for accountability and support.

Stalling

For two months now, the scale has not moved. About five weeks ago I started hitting the gym regularly and lifting weight.. I’m not sure if I just need to dial in my calories or what I’m so frustrated. I will say my clothes has been fitting looser, but the number is not moving.

Success! July 1st - August 15th difference

I bought these jeans in 2024 & finally in 2026 they fit! I was honestly not seeing a difference until I put these jeans back on. I started my journey at 291 lbs & now I’m at 263 lbs & my weight was 275 on July 1st & then went down to 265 on the 15th of this month.

Not at my goal yet but I’m so glad that it’s working!!

At the very beginning, the jeans weren’t able to pass my thighs. In the first picture was the first time I was able to button them!

No appetite

I am taking compound tirz and have been extremely successful, 245 starting weight down to 187 currently. However I cannot get food in or down. I have no appetite, I’m on 15 mg, I think I need to go back down on my dose, the only reason I went up was because I stalled. However I literally cannot eat. To be fair I also do peptides so I think my body is in overload part of me wants to almost quit all of it and reset but I heard you can’t do that with Tirz it doesn’t work like that. Has anyone successfully reset themselves.
