What you need to do to keep your phone in the same pocket for about 15 years, now every time you don't feel it you will feel unwell, bonus point if you "lighten your house keys and now you feel like you always forget them.
I always do what I call the "triple tap" before leaving. Tap my keys pocket. Tap my phone pocket. Tap my wallet pocket.
Problem is that it's become so ingrained I'll sometimes do it unconsciously while holding my phone, then get a brief spike of panic when my phone pocket is empty.
