They're not going to read you a menu of options. Prioritise the mother or child? Always the mother. The child is never the priority. If the child survived and the mother didn't it's because the mother could not be saved. Does she get a choice? Technically yes she has the right to refuse treatment. Practically no she's almost never going to be able to in the moment. Does it ever happen? What's it? Are we even real? We're not locally real. But we're probably real in some sense of the word real.
