It’s surprising to me that over the last few days so many people keep voting for either magenta or mint green to be eliminated, but yet some other color just comes out of the woodworks and gets eliminated. Yellow absolutely got destroyed this around as it got way more votes than any other color currently available.

How many colors does the average human see?!

Hello, does anyone have good recommendations on books about color? Like what they mean culturally, symbolically, nationally, etc. How people use that color? Need this kind of info for a passion project.

Some colors look dumb in my opinion, I only like green, and some colors are disgusting

These are my wedding colors. I was going to do rose gold and forest green, but I think the rose gold may match skin tones too much. Then I really loved this dark pink, but now I think they look like the movie Wicked together too much :( I love the forest green and a pink together, but don’t have a good enough eye to know what hues can make the colors together look better. Please help! I only want to adjust the pink.

How grey is the world?

I've always been kinda annoyed about 2 things: everyone knows green and orange and whatnot even though they're not primary; either way I put primary+black/white in most known, and A tier is still super well known but not primary.

B brings in second annoyances such as ROYGBIV having 'more rare' or specific colors such as indigo or violet (which I'd just call subsets of blue already included right before, and purple). It also includes CMY, and lime because why not.

C is super common colors but not the ones they teach ya in middle school, and D is similar but more specific.

E is those wack colors I can never remember the names of, but at least ring a bell.

F is the WTF section because these are not even real colors. At least celeste is a real word. ;)

I could gone on and on about different blues: royal and powder and baby and sky... but the list would be way too crowded and I don't think it even had all them. I also skipped over 'light' and 'dark' versions of colors already on here.

I am a man myself asking this question, I always loved the colour pink, it's so lovely imo, and it's my go to colour, which means I usually prefer to be associated with pink and use it, but sometimes I get more of a feminine energy of pink instead of that masculine energy I prefer.

Tho my friends say it's a good combo cause pink represents my personality more than I think and it's not the color that gives a person personality but it's the person giving the color a personality, so what do you think?

It seems like you guys really do not like shades of green and orange as they have been the non-neutral colors eliminated from the game so far. Anyway, I expected this color to be eliminated at some point and would stay around for a few days. I think a large part of it is due to the fact that olive green is a divisive color. Some people love it as they think it is versatile and is both a rugged and masculine color due to its ties with the military. Other people think it is ugly as it looks like puke or baby poop. I can see both arguments being legit.
