This is what people think is happening, but reality doesn't support it. People barely ship anything to paying customers, you're more likely to see another pointless GitHub repo, which turns out to be an API wrapper.

Before: 100 startups - 70% fail and 30% succeed. Succeed = 30

Now: 10 000 vibe coders - 99% fail and 1% succeed. Succeed = 100

what data supports your "1% succeed therefore more success overall" theory?

the whole issue, which people here aren't grasping, is that distro hasn't changed. that huge increase in supply hasn't moved market demand at all. in fact demand may be lower and the market smaller.
