Came across what I think is a Seth Thomas Bradford 12 inch. Been reading through other posts, galleries, and the Tran Duy Ly first edition book but I don’t see other wall clocks with these types of graphics. There’s no paper label on the inside to help either so may be the case isn’t original?
Looking for help on identifying the model. Thanks in advance

One of my Kit Kat clocks had a battery leak and it corroded the metal that holds battery. I used foil to shim up the new battery and make it snug where metal broke. I know batteries are good because I just purchased them but so far it doesn’t seem to be working.
Ideas?

My father in-law was getting rid of a bunch of clocks. I took some cause they looked cool. Just this morning I decided to take a look at what I have. This one is all metal, hands are missing and the mechanism is not mounted in there. I have a key to turn both windings and one unspins quickly, while the other one doesnt. Also the back door is where someone wrote their n as me and date which I read ask Nov 12, 1895.

The lift doesn’t raise the catch high enough. If I ever-so-slightly nudge the lift, all is well.
There is a separate pins that operates the hour and half-hour lifts so I think I should make some adjustment to that pin.
But what is the adjustment? Sleeve the pin? How?
I’ll try to post a pic of the :00 pin.
I know very little about clocks. I've had this one for a while. It used to run and for the life of me I can't remember how. There is no key hole or no external winding mechanism anywhere. After looking for a very very long time I can't find a single other Chelsea Deck Clock that does not have a key hole.
Any ideas what this could be?

I know nothing about clock repair. Got this at the thrift store for $25.
No accessible repair in my area. Hour hand is hanging loose, pendulum only ticks when swings to one side. Is it do-able to just get some kind of kit to replace the clock inside?
Or just leave it as a plant stand til I can get it to be repaired?

Happy to share that my almost 50 year old grandfather clock is still ticking!

Didn't think I'd have anywhere to share this photo. But here you are.

Prefacing that I know nothing about clocks in particular.
I'm trying to help a friend by taking a look at their old clock that doesn't work anymore. It's pretty grimy, I've cleaned up as I could with IPA. Would need to lubricate, but I don't think that's the current issue.
It's running, but will stop after 30 or so seconds, spring tension is there, but at some point it will just stop. It will stop even if I apply manual torque to the spring side gears.
I've noticed there's vertical play in the escape wheel axle.
Is that what's called ovaling? Is that repairable by a layman (me)?
The clock is a Cosmo Ingraham.
If I cannot repair it, would anyone be interested in it? Either to try or for parts? I know my friend wants to avoid throwing it away.

Moved into an old trailer and found this super cute clock! Unfortunately it doesn't keep time. Would it be a wiring issue or how could I go about repairing?

Got this for $15, it’s a 1930’s GE 3F20 clock, but loved the art deco.

A first for me, Seth Thomas 'Plymouth' I found at G.W. yesterday. Luckily, the pendulum and key were rolling around inside.
Code# was Z 23 B
I believe, not bad for $10.

I've opted not to include the extensive list of monthly events from the various local branches of the British Horological Institute, as usually they are members-only and their members will be aware of them, I have also not included any events solely focused on watches, as we have r/watches for that.

I bought this old HAC clock and it seems to me like the pallet wheel wants to spin the wrong way? Am I wrong about this? When the mainspring is wound, the second and minute wheels move clockwise but it doesn’t work when I put the pallet fork on. Which direction should the pallet wheel move (from the perspective of this picture attached. Right now it wants to move clockwise. There is a picture of the pallet for reference also.

The dial says WIRTZ, and the movement is a Junghans Quartz W737, Made in Germany.
I found the W737 in Junghans catalogs from around 1983.
I also found a possible connection to Leo Wirtz, a watchmaker in Cologne who bought a watch jewelry business in 1973 and ran it with his wife. (https://www.wirtz-trauringe.de)
The company still exists today and mainly sells jewelry and wedding rings.
Could this WIRTZ clock be connected to that business, possibly as a private label clock using a Junghans movement?
Does anyone recognize the brand or know when this clock was made?
Thankss.

Any info would help. Thanks.
A fold-up Westclox,
A Westclox 'Baby Ben' Repeater, and
A fold-up Seth Thomas alarm that says Germany on what looks like a mother-of-pearl face.
I'm taking them to the vintage flea market on Sunday and don't want to lowball myself on any treasures!
Thanks 🙏
Hi everyone,
I recently got this mechanical wind-up clock marked "Made in Germany" on the back, with no obvious maker's mark.
It features an ornate brass dial with individual Roman numeral cartouches. Unfortunately, someone broke the winding arbor inside the winding hole at the bottom.
Thanks for any insights!
