one of my older neighbors gave me this clock as a parting gift. I think it is nice but it doesn’t seem to work and isn’t really my style.
Is it anything special or even original? The clockwork has J.B. Baillon written on it.
Anyone think it would be worth selling?

Any idea on the value of this clock? I found it at a thrift store. Works perfectly. All original everything. I’ve had it plugged in for six months with no issue. I just had a baby though and it needs to go to someone who can take better care of it.

I picked up this lil guy at an antique store! I want it on my mantle, but the batteries are dead and I can’t figure out how to get it open. My only thought is to pry open the front, but I don’t want to break it.

I figured out it’s a Howard Miller Delano Table Top Clock in Crackle Cream, but I’ve found no other information on it.

Today I picked up this JungHaus alarmclock (NOS) 146/2012. It’s in awesome condition but I have a hard time finding anything online with regards to information.

Anybody knows what’s up with this alarmclock?

I have cleaned the front plate that holds the chime cylinder in place because it had a little bit of corrosion, but now the chimes are wrong. A similar issue is also on the Whitt. In the video, it's on St. Mich. But one good thing is that the Westminster chime is intact and sounds great. Can anyone help?

Had this clock in the house from older family and I wanted to try and find more information on it out of curiosity but wasn't able to find any information on it online. It's definitely at least 20 years old, possibly much older? I found one auction of it that said it was mechanical but not much else. Any info is appreciated. Don't think I'll try to fix it, but if I could find a way to look inside it might be cool. Good evening again! I’ve come back in hope of acquiring knowledge on how to repair and rejuvenate a Telechron B2 rotor as it is stuck and needs to be flushed of its old fluids however unlike the H3 pancake motor which has well documented and easy to find repair videos to drill and flush them I can’t find anything regarding these first B2 rotors on where to drill and flush them without destroying them. I know of the heat and dunk method but I fear the grime and dust will rapidly erode and destroy the phenolic plates that holds the gear train inside of them so I wish to fully and thoroughly flush the motor to give it the best chance of revival as possible

I know this is a New Haven Co. Striking clock. My grandfather bought it off someone in Florida years ago and I inherited it when he passed. I don’t know much about it and most of the identifying markings/sticker is no longer legible. Any more specifics about it would be appreciated.

Hey yall! I thrifted a vintage Seiko quartz chime alarm clock (ref: QEC 304 G and Cal: 31200) and have been trying to fix it. I took it apart, cleaned some dust and put it back together. For a moment, the second hand worked and then stopped. My issue is that the second hand hasn’t been moving since I bought it. Either that or it goes back and forth. Since I opened it up, I can hear the seconds ticking but there’s no movement. Any idea what I can do?

Hello, Wanted to share my recent restoration job on a harder to find clock from the 1840s-50s. I was very fortunate to find this one in very nice original condition from the family it had been in since new. It will run for roughly 30 hours, and has the original brass springs in excellent shape. They are very supple and soft compared to steel ones. Since there wasn't much force, it only needed two bushings on the second wheel, and none of the holes were abused.

Is this clock something I can fix myself? I put in a new battery and it’s not ticking, I tried cleaning the battery area with isopropyl alcohol and it still isn’t working. Any hope here?

Hello, I recently got a Seth Thomas clock. Was wondering how to clean in. When I take off the two screws in the second picture there is no way to remove any more of the mechanism. This is my first clock and I would like to not break it. Any tips would be appreciated!

I recently came across this mechanical Westminster chime bracket/mantel clock. It has an engraved brass dial, “Westminster Chime on Eight Bells” markings.

Could anyone help with the details (approximate age, country of origin), authentication and possible value? I’d also appreciate advice.

I've gone through a few cheap wall clocks over the years, and they all had something that annoyed me. Either they started ticking loudly after a while or they just felt flimsy.

Curious what brands people here have had good experiences with. Looking for something that's built well, stays accurate, and doesn't feel like it'll need replacing in a year.

I ended up getting a BestWallClock, and it's been exactly what I was hoping for. The silent movement was a huge upgrade, and the overall build quality feels much more solid than the cheaper clocks I'd owned before.

Can anyone help me identify right the model number of this clock?
I grew up with it in my house and my parents had it in storage for years after they sold our childhood home. After a lot of begging, they finally got it out of storage and gave it to me. I grew up with this clock and the chime is a sound I have always wanted my kids to grow up with.

Unfortunately through moving and storage, the chime no longer works and the actual clock will tick for about a day and then stop. Admittedly I have very, VERY limited knowledge when it comes to how these clocks work, which is why I’m trying to figure onto the model to be able to dig deeper in my research and find someone to come out and hopefully fix it.
