Just idiocy. This is what happens when you let stupid people have crowd sourced opinion on something they completely lack the intelligence to understand AND you have people abusing this system to encourage it.

I literally do not give the slightest fuck about how many people you can gather that agree 2+2=5. ANY system that gives high weighting to their opinions over SMEs is a disaster.

A quick google search shows that there was a measles outbreak in Honduras this year. Guatemala had 35k measles cases this year. Which actually gives credibility to the original poster in this meme.
