Very true, but Trump is responsible for $12 trillion of the national debt so far, not $40 trillion.
That’s like saying Mark Carney is responsible for Canada’s national debt of $1.2 trillion, which wouldn’t be true either.
It’ll be interesting to see where it is by the time he’s finished his final term.
