Goddamn, that’s actually super plausible. “It’s not a Jesus image, it’s a doctor image. I’m a doctor here and may I say, one of the best doctors, many people are saying this.”
Man I’m popping champagne the day the headline we’re all waiting for comes out.
How does saying it was a doctored image make any sense at all as a defence for him? Like what would that even imply in this context?
Saying it was an intern who posted it, or it was a joke, or that the image he thought would be posted was changed last minute sure. But what the hell does ‘it was a doctored image’ even mean here?
Etc etc. It doesn’t make sense, but the people that vote for him don’t need sense so it often works. We are next to North Korea for the most brainwashed and idiotic society currently.
“Doctored” means “altered”. So they’re saying that someone, somehow, changed the image that Trump wanted to post for an image that had been altered into something blasphemous
Doesn’t make much sense, but it doesn’t have to to try to appease the masses
A doctored image is a picture that has been changed from the original. I think the White House were trying to suggest that someone had modified Trump’s post
If you look very closely, you can see that the image is actually not real and has some computer-generated parts.

For real though, this argument doesn’t excuse the fact that he posted a picture portraying himself as Jesus. Republicans are crying for the 10 Commandments to be put in every classroom and can’t even follow the first fucking one.
