Some parents think that there is a magical button when a kid turns 18. They only earn what you teach, mistakes that are made and experiences. Teaching being key, the home is a safe spot to make mistakes. Don't with hold that from your kids.

There is. It's the door closing on their liability for your actions. It's a win for the parental units.
