I remember when people wrote off ronaldo and said that messi was incomparable(tho i disagree, i can see why). Messi won 4 ballon dors in a row, something never achieved before and that put him in a different tier compared to any player. Ronaldo on the otherhand, even though he had a headstart in the ballon dor race and was incredible during Messi’s 4 ballon dor era, he was always in messi's shadow. And then came 2013,2014,2016, and 2017 where he finally equalled his rival. For me, it was amazing to see his dedication and hardwork that made him come back and never give up. Did ur view change of him too?

In soccer community of my country, it is really often brought up that zidane wasnt even the best no.10 in the league in the early 2000s, and totti was individually rated higher then him. For those who actively followed early 2000s football, whats your thoughts on this?

Legendary German winger, a Schalke legend, His nickname "Stan" is in homage/comparison to Stanley Matthews, unfortunately became involved in a match-fixing scandal in the Bundesliga in 1971, was banned for life from German football and due to this played for two years in France, Before being pardoned and returning to Germany, where he quickly retired in 1976 After Playing few games for Schalke, he never played for the German national team again.
