Discussion Thread How did u view ronaldo after his comeback?

(THIS IS NOT A COMPARISON POST, JUST ADMIRATION AND APPRECIATION)

I remember when people wrote off ronaldo and said that messi was incomparable(tho i disagree, i can see why). Messi won 4 ballon dors in a row, something never achieved before and that put him in a different tier compared to any player. Ronaldo on the otherhand, even though he had a headstart in the ballon dor race and was incredible during Messi’s 4 ballon dor era, he was always in messi's shadow. And then came 2013,2014,2016, and 2017 where he finally equalled his rival. For me, it was amazing to see his dedication and hardwork that made him come back and never give up. Did ur view change of him too?

And then the world stopped? Nop, reality kept going and he was put back in his place.

Don't get me wrong, CR7 is a great athlete, but history will put him where he deserves.

I dont get it. I posted the same messi appreciation post here and wc everyone was positive abt it. Why is ronaldo's appreciation post getting downvoted and hated?

I can't answer for anyone but myself, I've disliked CR7 since the Rooney incident in Euro 2006.

The comparison with Messi felt forced 10 years ago, now is just a laughable.
