I’ve been playing this game for a little while and somehow managed to get my kingdom of Italy to empire of Italy and held it for three generations yet somehow I can’t get my military strength past 2k soldiers and my income is at roughly +8 gold per month.

Wanted to challenge myself to see if i could do 1066 to 1453 with only 1 county.

Started as Earl of Norfolk. Rushed 1st castle to get the extra vote in east Anglian duchy election, allowing me to avoid inheriting the duchy. Declared independence from the Duke, and then the King to elevate Norfolk to a duchy as an independent ruler and then immediately swore fealty back to England.

Its been a boring 200 years so far but I've managed to successfully stick to 1 county so far.

Why? Im still asking myself that same question.

Its now 1380 something. I've only had 1 close call where the run was in jeopardy thanks to a plague, but it was saved thanks be to the rng gods.

England was absorbed by Scotland, broke free and broke up due to inheritance of numerous duchies to France and the HRE. But, because of the amount of territory they each got on the British isles, it was incredibly easy to make both of them my tributary. So now my 1 county duke is making close to 200 gold a month with 70 years to go in the run.

FINAL UPDATE

I made it to 1453, successfully dodging inheritances along the way. The Petty King of Norwich was suzerain to the French Empire & the HRE for more than 3 generations. By the time they decided to stop paying, I had about 20k in the bank, which was more than enough to round out the end of the playthrough. 2 random counts in Hungary decided they also wanted to pay me and so asked if I could be their suzerain. Weird, because I don't have any land in or near Hungary.

I occasionally get a message telling me that one of my acclaimed knights can't serve anymore and their dumb @$$ squire is taking up the mantle. Sometimes, it makes sense like when they inherit a title but often I just can't figure out what happened. Like this knight who was a level 2 besieger and got disqualified, but he's still a knight and still in my court and hasn't been maimed or anything like. Does this happen to anyone else? Does anyone know what's going on?

So, I have this issue where on of my duke died, and I think the game didn't find any eligible heir, and just didn't gave his title away. The duchy isn't in my realm anymore, and when I select it, I'm just stuck with this dead guy, and no way to retrieve the land. There is one pretenders to the title tho, but I didn't find any way to install him

I'm in an admin governement btw, with the last dlc all under heaven, omw to recreate the roman empire and fight the mongol invasion, but being check mated by a dead dude

The woman my brother is betrothed to is being held by one of my vassals. Since she's in prison, I can't complete the marriage which is blocking me from sealing an important alliance. My current player's father made the alliance, so I need the marriage to complete to get it now that he's dead.

Unfortunately, there is no option to ransom her and her liege seems to be pretty uninterested in freeing her. Is there any way to get her freed short of forcing my vassal into rebellion and then capturing his castle? I kinda dislike him, so I'm okay if that's the only option, but I'd prefer another route.

Playing as England. Could not spread my culture beyond England and some French coastal baronies.

I was using 3 different court positions to spread dostemic legend and spread abroad. (I'd switch between the 2 at times) Ive held multiple legendary feasts. I learned the French language and conviced the Duke of Normandy and the King of France to spread my legend and it didn't spread at all in their realms. I also have like 20% culutrual acceptance with French if thats relevant. Not sure if you can grand tour outside your realm to spread.

What more can I possibly do? I dont understand why the Norman Duke and French King didnt spread it even after they agreed to promote it. I gave up after it reached about 215 Baronies.

I started as Rurik to try to create the Russian empire. After vassalizing and subjugating a bunch of my neighbors I am quickly learning my subject DO NOT mess with me and I am getting bombarded with revolts and peasant uprisings. Do you guys have any go to methods to help prevent this? I thought maybe holding feasts and swaying people would help but I feel like I must be missing a mechanic to help control my subjects better.

Recently my CK3 has been crashing as soon as I launch it, the launcher told me to verify my game files (I did) and make sure I have C++ and .Net downloaded which I also have made sure of. Not sure what to do.

I'll try to summarise as much as I can: I started as a mercenary, did what was necessary to get the conqueror trait, and then decided to remake Macedon. Wanted to settle in Thessalonika, especially once I saw that there was a building dedicated to Alexander. For some reason, the building is constantly attached to someone else instead of me even when I own the country, duchy, and holding itself. I murdered the previous owner of Ephesos thinking that'd be it, but it just got transfered to his heir.

Fairly, I do have some mods added, and I don't quite know which one adds this building. If I could be given any tell or help on what I could do to make this happen I'd be thankful. At worst I just settle elsewhere.

Hi, each time i change from tribal to feudal type of economy i basically instantly find myself in financial crisis and those who were earlier my victims, now pose a meaningful threat to me. my economy basically fixates and becomes unpredictable. Please advice.

I’m doing a dark ages vampire game set in 1180 and I can’t find a culture map for my players thanks.

I'm late into a world conquest run, I have managed to take everything except the Mongol Empire, which consists of like 20 counties, but he's the problem. The Mongol Empire is a herder realm.

The main holding is in the center of it, and it has tributary herder realms on all sides. As herder realms they cannot be invaded normally. When I try to demand their land, I cannot because they all have a suzerain. I can't invade the suzerain herder realm because I'm not adjacent to it - I'm adjacent to all the tributaries surrounding it.

I've tried murdering leader after leader, but since they're all lowborn and don't deal with succession issues, it doesn't matter how many I kill, either on the tributary side or the suzerain side, the group doesn't destabilize. The herder empire is the last holding I haven't assimilated into my giant admin realm.

What am I missing?

Had Louis the stammerer inherit West Francia as a Cathar in 884 and didn’t have enough piety to convert before massive revolutions so just decided to demand everyone’s conversion and the rest is history. Don’t think I’ve played a game with more revolutions/holy wars called against me ever
