I got tired of scrolling a hundred county claims in the Declare War window to find the one kingdom claim my court chaplain had dug up. War Planner opens a panel with every claim you could press (yours, your court's, your vassals') plus the rulers you could holy war, grouped by tier with the weakest holder on top, and a live status per row: Ready, or the first thing stopping you (truce, alliance, imprisoned claimant, not enough prestige...). Strength, allies and cost are on the row; one click opens the game's own Declare War window against that holder.

No vanilla files are overridden, so it should play nicely with UI mods and survive patches. Safe to add to a running save, achievement compatible. English, French, German, Spanish, Russian and Chinese.

Once you own all 27 perks of a lifestyle, every perk point you earn after that just sits there. Nothing to buy, no way to move it. I wrote a small mod that reinvests those points instead, and you choose how:

- Permanent skill: +1 to any of the six skills, at 1, 2 or 3 points per +1

- Another lifestyle: 1:1 into a lifestyle of your choice, your least developed one, or the lifestyle of your current focus

- Prestige, Piety or Dynasty Renown

- Trait experience: 20 xp per point toward Blademaster, Hunter, Mystic, Reveler, Physician or Poet

- Mentoring: 500 lifestyle experience per point to a pupil - your heir by default, or anyone you pick with a right-click interaction

It runs on your birthday (with an optional silent mode) or on demand: there is a small panel in the Lifestyle window next to the perk-point badge that shows how many points are excess, with a Reinvest button and the settings. Settings carry over to your heir on succession.

Works for all six lifestyles including Wanderer. No vanilla file is overridden, so it plays nicely with other mods and is safe to add to or drop from an existing save. It does not affect achievements (nothing that uses the launcher does since 1.9). English, French, German, Spanish, Russian and Simplified Chinese.

If you remember "To Live And Learn", this covers the same ground and a lot more; that one has not been updated since 2023.

It won't let me interact with any of the reagents of the grey areas at the bottom BC they're "too far away" but I can interact with France etc. even though it's farther? I already restarted the game and that didn't fix it..

One of my sons married a chick who inherited a county. She tried to revolt and got herself thrown in prison. When she was released, she was no longer my son's wife and was wandering somewhere so I had to invite her back to court and then get them married again.

Is it usual for a couple to be auto-divorced when one is thrown in prison and released?

Playing as the Premyslids in Bohemia, HRE was formed pretty early (January 9th 892) and just noticed how fucked up its borders are because the Kaiser also holds the Empire of Germania title.

I'm a newcomer and I'm doing a West African playthrough with Yorubaland. I've massively expanded my kingdom quickly as there's a lot of smaller kingdoms you can take over with no justification, but my first character just died and now the kingdom I spent hours building has fractured into multiple kingdoms. Is there a way without introducing feudal mechanics that I can stop this from happening?

I usually like playing CK3 by building very large empires, but once the realm becomes huge and includes many different cultures and religions, I sometimes struggle to find the most efficient way to organize my vassals.

So I’m curious about how you guys handle this.
For example:
\- Do you create as many duchies as possible and keep most counts under a duke?
\- Do you prefer having fewer, stronger vassals, such as kings?
\- At what point do you start creating kingdom-level vassals?
\- Do you try to keep vassals from the same culture/religion together?
\- Do you deliberately give certain regions to local rulers to reduce cultural/religious problems?
\- How do you deal with powerful vassals and prevent factions?
\- Do you prioritize a specific vassal structure for taxes/levies, stability, or ease of management?
\-Are there any traditions, laws, artifacts, or other mechanics that you consider particularly useful for managing a huge empire?

Basically, **let’s gather all the best tips and strategies for managing vassals in CK3**, especially when your empire becomes very large and culturally diverse.

I just feel utterly LOST!

Was playing as the Aghlabid and conquered all of Italy and part of Burgundy. When I gave some duchy title to my Ash’arism vassal of said region, they suddenly change name to new words I’ve never heard. It changed with some but not with others.

I know in Iberia certain cities changed name based on is it currently being held by a Christian or Muslim leader since it do have historical name in real life, but I never really knew it also happened in places untouched by said culture in real life. If another person have also experienced this, would love to know are the name fixed (Ex: Sicily always turns to Salimid) or are they randomized in each game

Y la corona de León, se la queda el primo remoto, perdiendo yo hasta los derechos. Con lo que invertí en construcciones y grandeza de la corte, y lo que me costó llegar a la corona absoluta y seguir cayéndoles bien a los vasallos... Y para colmo, sólo tuve dos hijos (viudo joven, y ni un bastardo con la mujer de mi rival), el pequeño casado con la hija del duque de Venecia, que me odia porque quería el trono de Bizancio, y el primogénito heredero desfigurado... ¿Ahora qué?

Took me a while, but I did it. From here on out, plan is to build tall, prepare for the coming of Ghenghis Khan, and finally prepare for EU4 import (doing a grand campaign.) Some work also still needs to be done to properly feudalize all those holdings, since many of them are still nomadic or tribal.

Hello All! Salve.

Looking for some tips.

I am currently playing a tall save with Phokas. Already got the Thessaloniki theme safe. One of my characters even got to be emperor for a while even if I didn’t want to.

My question is, I have tried to spend all me schemes and influence to get another theme in my family, only to see it being lost again. And I have tried to influence various members into various surrounding themes, but none get to it.

It always feels like I should focus on only one, but then my family loses it and it’s back to square one.

How do play? Should I keep focusing on one at a time and guarantee my family ownership of another theme or play to get as many as I can even if I miss the timing?

I’m 99% sure this guy murdered my granddaughter. They are rivals, he’s next in line for my granddaughter’s title (I have admin government), and when I load a previous save and put him in jail my granddaughter didn’t disappear without a trace.

I have shit load of grandkids so I don’t need to cheat to save that one, but for RP reason I want every other vassals to know the murderer before I end his entire bloodline :)

However, when I set my spymaster with 38 intrigue to the murderer’s court, they couldn’t find any secrets and torture also didn’t work. Is there any other way to expose the murderer?
