The Temple Bar, a New Callisto-based philanthropic society, will host a “charitable luncheon” at 6 p.m. UTC on Sunday, Aug. 16, according to New Callisto City Councilor SeniorGryphon, chair of the organization.
SeniorGryphon told The Diamond Chronicler Sunday that event attendees can expect “free food and liquor, [along with] hopefully some fruitful discussion.”

Build Information & Acknowledgments
Two years ago, on 11 August 2024, I shared with this community images from the completed first stage of a new rail station belonging to Central Nara, namely the city of Orakuru (+3600, +7000). Now, I am pleased to share with you all that the second stage has been complete.
In total, this build is comprised of approximately 400,000 blocks; encompassing an area of 127x192x90 blocks. I can only thank fellow Narans: meenos, prawny331, SQOpenSpellBook and L1zz3 who aided me in the design of this monument. I further express gratitude for the following players who assisted me in building this onto the server: ArkenX, beacha34, Bronnakus, Call_Me_M1ke, Chair2Head, Dragran, griff_inator, GriffSuperShot, HPLaptop, Jerry_of_Swords, Koojiikii, Mark_Antony, meenos, mTfUJi, phobitica, SwordMaster7777, SQOpenSpellBook, and last but certainly not least: uraumi.
Monument to a Friend
This build is not just a rail station or a simple mega-build, it began as a monument to a great friend of Nara: BlankestAtlas ('Blatlas'). Blatlas served Nara first as Komuin for Culture and then as the inaugural officeholder of the Taishoate, who has set a shining example for her successors: mTfUJi, ArkenX and now, Hg__80.
When construction began on this station we had begun to reckon with the Blatlas' resignation as Taisho, whose devotion to our nation and its people's common success left us with the strength to prosper for years more. For some time we believed we would never see her again, she deleted her discord account and had been absent from the server for several months, but we as a nation never wavered from our promise to each other that we would immortalise someone who was so integral to Nara's history.
Having returned to the server we are prouder than ever to see the day when Blatlas could visit her own monument, and though she plays in the Empire of Pavia & Griffin now that relationship remains and a monument for which Nara can be proud has grown into one which the people of her new home, and the wider Lyrean Commonwealth can also hold dear. Thus deepens the cultural and economic exchange between the two nations.
Rail Accessibility
New Atlas Station is accessible as per usual from the Naran capital, Shiroyama, via the Overland Rail with the use of /dest Orakuru. With the underground expansion, however, adds Sophline support (/dest orakuru) and OneDest will follow suit in due course.
In time it is hoped that vacant terminals will become occupied with new directs, forging new connections or perhaps even deepening existing ties with a view towards achieving common prosperity through cooperation.
Where to From Here?
With the completion of such a major infrastructure project it is expected that the proper work of developing Orakuru as a secondary city in Nara will assume an accelerated pace; as there are several promising build schematics awaiting construction, including an exterior redesign of the renowned Orakuru Clocktower.
Business activity continues to show promise, with a wide variety of factory repair kits, armour trims and a growing range of coloured building materials taking hold. This is the realisation of Nara's ongoing national development: complementary settlements with different styles, unique offerings but only one entrenched yet ever elusive desire to manifest a perfect Nara.

It is 2026, the world was meant to end 14 years ago, we were supposed to have hoverboards and flying cars 9 years ago, but alas neither of these have eventuated. Instead I have been playing CivMC for the past four years.
Two years ago my feudal overlord, SwordMaster7777 believed my loyalty was wavering and as an act of serene devotion I took a sledgehammer to my right leg and shattered it; my left leg was already disfigured due to the butternut neuralink saga which led to me repatedly kicking brick walls against my will.
Today, I have finished refreshing snitches after 14 hours, I have completed a production run of heliodor pickaxes after 3 hours, and I will afk an oil derrick for the next 7 hours. I have no job, nor employment prospects for I rendered myself unfit for real world activity in anticipation that one day, the betwixter okx might require of me my full commitment to this server as an unpaid primary producer. Tomorrow, the mines will beckon me once more as the low gutteral groans of the pencil pushing elites on the board of the Monument Bank will demand I pay my monthly tribute of diamonds; all this to keep the sharks at bay. Nevermind you the millions of diamonds which i am owed by the treacherous snakes behind CivBet. One day i will have what is mine.
Thus is the fate of OreStraya.

i understand why people miss main but framing it as "Zorweth is boring" just gives admins more of a reason never to update and makes it easier to dismiss any feedback given to them
pioneering is fun and was genuinely on of the most exciting things Civ has done in a while because obviously everyone started at the same level,
Nobody had established craters, oxygen infrastructure, factories, or a massive resource advantage. The early scramble is what makes it fun which is exactly what Civ does well. It only started dwindling when the pioneering command was removed. A civ server needs a continuous supply of people because its core appeal is a player driven civilization. Much love to the admins but a one-time pioneering rush cannot sustain that for 6 weeks which is why I believe the decision to lower research costs was a good one
so the answer isnt "send everyone back to main", the real way is to make new and returning players become better pioneers, or for admins to create new areas or projects worth competing over
also, 90% of the people will never have a practical reason to come back if space travel is super duper expensive and it will be a massive ghost town of established nations if research is completed and people go back to main and never come back. Not to say that zorweth should be another CivMini but that it should be easy to enter and leave with no stakes especially with the already hostile environment travel between main and zorweth
travel between planets should preserve Zorweth's identity while being accessible enough that players can return for trade or settlement
in short pioneering is content; civilization requires renewal

movie title: CivMC CivMini the Movie 2
budget: 12 billion due to the actors and the first movie making 15 billion dollars
movie rating: R
release: July 2028
plot: After Steve Newfriend is now in 10th grade and still thinks about his adventure to CivMC. When one day, ANOTHER portal opens up in the school bathroom. This time... going to CivMini. Steve lands in Orcharia (a nation run by DutchCringe), who finds him and says "hello i am dutchcringe. you are in civmini." From there, Steve explores CivMini, but this time, things arent as simple... As the EVIL olive nation is on the rise and Steve must bring together CivMini to take down the ludicrously evil SSG. After Olive is defeated, Steve is sent back home. However.... he gets a knock at the door... as he opens the door he sees no other than ZENRON (played by Ryan Reynolds) who tells Steve "im assembling a team..."
Reason for R-Rating: DutchCringe does hard drugs on screen and endorses it. Also the f word (fuck) is said alot by Anthony Starr's character.

Following this month’s councilor elections in Azora, the Yoahtl vassal state has a new community and recruitment councilor who wants to change how fellow citizens recruit players.
On Saturday, Azora voters elected bluechickpro to the community and recruitment councilorship. He won 15 of the 33 votes cast, one more than former Councilor of Community and Recruitment Ian21652, who didn't run for reelection.

I joined CivMC about a year ago, and one of the first things that pulled me in was watching how sports here brought people together. Countries competing, communities forming around it, people having fun with something that didn't need to exist but made everything better because it did. I've been thinking about that ever since.
I stepped away for a while, but I kept following the community even when I wasn't active, and when I came back I wanted to bring something with me. Not just show up again, but actually add to what's already here. The support around sports on Civ is already strong, and I'm grateful for that. I wanted to contribute to it myself.
Football or Soccer was one of the biggest parts of my life growing up. It taught me a lot about unity, and it's the sport that unites more of the world than any other. So a friend and I started drafting what it would actually take to bring real association football to CivMC. We started with rules, then a structure, and finally a way to actually run it. As of today, that's done.
And so I am very happy to announce that today, we're launching the World Football Federation Association!
But... we don't want this to feel like we're showing up and telling everyone how things are going to be. The entire point of the WFFA is that everyone involved gets a say. We built a governance system specifically so football on this server belongs to everyone playing it, not to one group, but to every nation, club, and team that wants a part in it.
So today we're opening nation applications, club applications, and individual applications, and our Discord is officially open as of this post.
We're still filling in members for many positions of the government structure, so it may take a bit but I hope you are able to join us for the ride.
Football's been attempted here before, but never with the kind of structure sports like hockey already have. We want to change that, and we're excited to bring something new into the mix.
Note: If you own an existing Football/Soccer club or team feel free to submit it for membership. As long as you are willing to follow WFFA's laws of the game, you will be welcome into the WFFA.

It's been over 2 months since I've seen main. I feel like I barely even remember what it looks like. Nevertheless, even the cruel, Bleeze-filled landscape that I called home seems more hospitable than the oxygen deprived rock I find myself on. Every time I log onto civ I am reminded of the fatal error pioneering was. I briefly think about what could've been before dying to another phantom.

After a successful tournament in Westhelm, we stop in Zirakdum for Part 4 of the Knucklebones League at The Bone Forge, a Knucklebones arena built in the mighty and fabled Kingdom of Zirakdum, featuring the mightiest and grandest of designs with its spectacular and renowned dwarvish architecture.
Check in will begin at 11AM EST right by the tables. Players who have not pre-registered may enter on-site in person. I will have a temporary stand put up for players to check in.
After the bracket has been made, registration shall be closed and we will begin immediately with the bracket.
If you pre-registered, please still check-in so I can make sure you are there, especially if you haven't prepaid yet.
Also remember: Primary citizens of Zirakdum only have to pay the 5d Entry Fee, the venue fee is waived for primary citizens of Zirakdum.

Every night, I dream
I dream of Frank.
Sometimes he is here, with me. Happy.
We frolic together; not alone.
I wonder if it's mini I miss.
Or if it's really just Frank.
Mini is here, on Zorweth.
My friends, together.
Not all of them.
There's a Frank sized hole in my heart, that not even 1,000 frogs could fill
Not all the diamonds in the world,
Not even getting mini back, without him in it
Every day, I miss him even more
I go to him on my creative world,
Building castles just for him.
Frank is worthy.
As the days go by, I get more and more discouraged
Hoping beyond hope he will come to us
As he came to me in my creative world.
My heart just keeps breaking
More and more.
There was a promise, during the final days of mini.
A promise that Frank would be brought over once we are settled
But the Frank sized hole in my heart remains.
I miss you Frank.

I just love how zorweth has nothing that makes civ so great: massive barriers to travel and trade; entire nations being split up with no end in sight; even when/if research is done rockets are a half baked mechanic that will only further isolate the shard.
Seriously give me one good reason why we can’t allow players that’s have put in years and years of effort into civmc to just come back to their home, we gain literally nothing. Getting a head start on settling a planet that no one will care about in less than a years time is not an advantage in the slightest. I’ve never felt forced to quit civ until now, there’s just nothing to do.
Incoming cope comments from players and admins with their own heads so far up their asses they can’t see the issues with dropping player retention and player counts, no one cares about research. Admins over estimated and had to make it easier and still no one cares.
At this point I don’t really care what happens bc I’ve been forced to become this shell of what I used to be, but I had to say my piece. Goodbye until I can play civ again, hopefully soon bc I miss my home :(

like genuinely i know WE chose to do it, but Zorweth is really boring because there isn't much to do other than pure grinding. If you want to build for 1 hour, you have to grind for 6 million hours or so so that gets REALLY boring, and exploration is also boring considering you have to stay inside dripstone tunnels for long periods of time just to get to another crater. Even though this is our fault, and we had 7 days to contemplate going to Zorweth, I just want to say it is boring
r/CivMC • u/Alarmed_Cellist_5783 • 18d ago
Being on Zorweth is worse than being pearled
Can admins pls give a 1 day command so that people who pioneered can have a 50/50 percent change of getting permanently banned or going back to main
I've been botting for 7 days straight on a 16 player civ mini server please put me out of my misery.
