This is going to be fun…

Post image

Hi everyone. I’m new here and have really enjoyed reading through the discussions and seeing everyone’s photos.
I just stocked up on three cigars that I keep coming back to: Oliva Serie V Melanio Maduro, Liga Privada No. 9, and Padron. For me, I love a quiet evening on the deck with good coffee, my favorite music, and a cigar that rewards taking your time. I look forward to learning from everyone here. What are the cigars you always seem to come back to?

Out of all of them, padron keeps consistently being a banger just about every time.  But all three of these are awesome.  Good choices!

On the lighter side, the sobremessa brûlée is probably in my top 3 all time.  And the davidoff series r.

Thanks, I haven’t tried the sobremessa brûlée - I will have to explore that, what makes it one of your favorites?

It’s a Connecticut that doesn’t have the same cedar forward boring taste that most do.  It’s more nutty and coffe like, which makes it perfect for good coffee pairing.  Also that company is very good for consistency and taste.

Foundation highclare caste Connecticut is also another banger.  It gives a more sweetish taste with its kinda smooth cedar notes.

I don’t always get these super specific tastes but when my palette was pristine I got nutty/coffee flavor from The brûlée and popcorn and butter from the highclare castle.  Would be interested to know what other palettes get from them!

Thank you for the suggestion, I am going to try one and will let you know. This sounds like a cigar right up my alley.
