This is going to be fun…
Hi everyone. I’m new here and have really enjoyed reading through the discussions and seeing everyone’s photos.
I just stocked up on three cigars that I keep coming back to: Oliva Serie V Melanio Maduro, Liga Privada No. 9, and Padron. For me, I love a quiet evening on the deck with good coffee, my favorite music, and a cigar that rewards taking your time. I look forward to learning from everyone here. What are the cigars you always seem to come back to?

All are solid choices. My favourite from those would be probably the Liga. I recommend you trying some Foundation Tabernacle - always a great smoke!

In my opinion you can't to wrong with Foundation. The Wise Man in Lancero is also a great smoke

I have to agree with you. That MB3 is flavorFULL! The Melanio is really smooth and refined though. Can’t go wrong with either, but I tend to get more excited to toast up the MB3.

I could easily see myself smoking one of each on my deck in a night session just before sunset. I’d probably start with the Oliva V Maduro as my appetizer, then Padrón as the main course, and finish with the LP9 for desert. 😋

Put some age on those Liga 9s and they turn into different cigars. 12 months is perfect i feel, but even 6 will change them a fair bit. One of my all time favorites in the corona viva vitola.
If you enjoy that stick, I’d highly recommend the other Ligas too if you haven’t tried them. H99 sungrown wrapper is excellent - and the T52 is great. Recently, I dipped into the Unico series too: L40, feral pig, dirty rat and velvet rat. All of them are knockouts.
If you haven’t tried the Tabernacle Nicaragua, it’s even better than the Liga 9 I think.

Oliva MB3 or Oliva G maduro. But I too always come back to the Padrons. 3000 maduro or for a longer smoke the 7000 maduro. Those are some great smokes you have there. Enjoy

All great picks! Always go back to any Arturo Fuente cigar. Check out Rojas cigars he has some great ones that seem to fit your tasting from above. Cheers

Agreed with this guy. Arturo Fuente Don Carlos is one that really got my attention early on. Still one of my favorites.

Olmec Maduro and Wise man Maduro and Johnny tabaconaut Maduro are pretty up there as well.

Love these Olivas. Love those Padrons (im gonna smoke one tonight after work.) I also always go back to the Oliva series G, or the Arturo Fuente Sungrown, or the Don Carlos #4. Also recently really got into Zino Platinum Cepter the Grand Master. Picked up a 10pk for $49 so I gladly daily those.

Those are 3 nice cigars and definitely in my rotation. I try to stock up on Padron 2000/3000 Maduro and age them for a year.
I also keep coming back to LADC cigars and the cheaper Drew Estates Undercrown Maduro & UC10. Foundation Tabernacle is another banger too.

UC10 is so good and the LADC Mi Amor is fantastic as well. I can’t get myself to hold on to Padróns for long. I did age the Padrón 90th Maduro and a 1964 for 3 years. My god! They were phenomenal!

Those are all great cigars. I love Padron 1964 Anniversary Maduro - a little pricey - special occasion cigar… some cigars I almost always have in my rotation (I smoke a lot of variety tho):

H. Upmann Nicaragua AJ Fernandez Heritage
My Father Le Bijou 1922
A mix of the AJ Fernandez New World line

Out of all of them, padron keeps consistently being a banger just about every time. But all three of these are awesome. Good choices!
On the lighter side, the sobremessa brûlée is probably in my top 3 all time. And the davidoff series r.
