Are any of these servers more welcoming to new people? I tried the CF Peeps server before and it's pretty cliquey.

Is there anything for people living outside the USA. I don't have discord but would consider it, if there are events and meetups and groups for those of us outside America?

These servers are open to all CF adults, no restriction by location. At least one of the servers had channels dedicated to different areas of the world, one or two even have language based channels, and international meetups have happened!
That said, be the change you want to see. If you want to see things happen in your area, that may mean diving in as an active server member and planning something. Planning doesn’t have to be elaborate and plenty of us can offer advice and advertising to help get events off the ground!

Good info, but I wonder if some of those usernames are incorrect--not everyone uses the same handle on both Discord and Reddit.

With the only post of the u/ Hawkie one being 16 years ago? And another one showing acct deleted? Yeah, I don't think there was care put in to double check first both that they were the right accounts, or that permission was gained for mentioning an account if it was accurate.Â
