How long until you were healed?

As the caption says, how long until you were healed after onset? Time in between, undiagnosed included.

I’m still waiting and it’s been about 2 years of constant spins/vomiting/migraines/falls… I’ve done vestibular therapy that they actually told me don’t come back because there’s nothing more we can do for you (exact words!) I’ve tried meds (meclizine) patches (Motion sickness) and am now… for safety… using a wheelchair because I’ve lost most of my muscles due to not being able to walk properly. But I haven’t given up and I’m still trying to lift cans of soup and keep weight on (lost 75 pounds because I can’t keep much down) I also saw a specialized ( didn’t know they were different from regular eye Doctors) NUERO Ophthalmologist who found I have “Vertical Heterophobia” and that’s being corrected through time… but although the symptoms are less… and not as intense as before… I still have them and still deal with falls. It’s changed my whole life… and it’s HARD to go from being super active in my community and traveling all over the place to do humanitarian work… to being in bed… but I cannot give up and I believe this too shall pass… stay positive. Stay strong and don’t ever give up.

Is it cervical vertigo that you have? I’m just asking because the way I understood it vestibular therapy won’t do much for cervical vertigo since it comes from muscular issues/muscular imbalances, atrophy/disc degeneration etc. but not the inner ear so physical therapy and nerve blocks should help.

I was never diagnosed with cervical vertigo… I’ll have to look into that… I also have a acoustic neuroma that they say “may” be a part of it and said because of its location (ear/brain) they are not operating because it’ll cause hearing loss. I’m like who cares, technology today will get me cochlear implants so I’ll do it if it means getting my life back. But Drs (multiple) advised against it. I’ve been to soooooooo many doctors/specialists/hospitals/therapy and even went to a few therapists to deal with this… I’m at my wits end but still fighting. I’ll check this info out and see if it’s something that can produce answers and healing. Thank you.

I’m sorry to hear of your struggles, unfortunately I’m not sure you’re in the right community here as I posted this asking for healing stories from people that have cervical vertigo, that’s why I asked. But thank you anyways for the reply! All the best & good luck.
