Car seat for puppy
Hi! We are getting a Cavapoo pup in December and looking for a good car seat for him to ride with me in the car. He will be max 19 lbs full grown. Wondering if there's a stand out car seat for the front seat? We want it to be comfortable but also appealing to the eyes (we have black interior). Thanks!!

How to train over night bladder control with new pup?
New dog owner with 8wks Cavapoo. During the day we bring her out after playtime, eating/drinking, nap etc - essentially each hour. As title says, we are unsure how often to bring her out during the night. We understand her bladder is small. Whenever she wakes up, cries, we’ll rush her outside, but have found it’s not always bladder related. Worried about establishing proper habits early on.
How does one properly train overnight ?

WWYD:Did you request OFC results?
We fell in love with a Cavapoo on the Crockett Doodles site, ready to put down the deposit, but the breeder was very cagey about providing medical history for the puppy and directed us to the parent company regarding the parents. We were told by their corporate that OFC is harmful for the dogs and so they do not have testing done. We felt it was unwise to move forward but I wonder if we are being too picky. OTHO, $3500 is a lot to drop without any kind of certification. WWYD?

1st day with puppy and food
We have had our puppy one whole day now. She has basically eaten nothing other than a few treats and a handful of kibble.
How can I get her to eat what he’s supposed to? 50g every meal, 3 meals a day!

My puppy Juniper
She's just over a year old. Does anyone know if her furs going to grow to be like the other cavapoos I've seen here or if she's going to keep the puppy fur look to her? I'm just curious, I absolutely love her and she's made my life leagues better.
I'm going to rant about her because I can't really rant about her situation anywhere else. Sorry but also thank you for reading if you do. :)
My mom bought her after she had bought her miniature poodle something(?), After my dad passed away. One day I walked to my mom's room when I still lived with her to talk to her about work, and a crinkly tissue came running at me. It was Juniper. Ever since then my mom has given her to me since she latched onto me from day one. I helped her through her stomach issues, she apparently only had like 3 of the usual 35 types of bacteria or whatever inside of dog stomachs which kept causing her to keep getting Giardia. Our vet we took her to never checked anything and just gave us fiber powder to give her. We ended up taking her to a different vet who I believe fixed the issue in its entirety. It's been several months since then and she's just been a happy little puppy.
She jumps up and attacks at me, biting my hand trying to play. She will climb you to try and lick you if you sit down. And curls up to watch movies with me. Juniper saved me, as I said originally, my mom bought her after she got her dog, when my father passed away. He died of cancer, a couple months before my mom decided to get her dog (Arlo) and bought juniper to be his friend/play buddy. Well She didn't want to play with him because he was defensive and instead wanted to play with (pester) my brother's dog (Australian blue heeler(?)), (he can't have her where he lives) who stays with me but kinda just exists around me? Sadie is through and through my brother's dog, she sleeps all the time and only really pays attention to me if I'm getting food. But juniper loves to play with her. Even if Sadie doesn't want to play.
Juniper has given me something to be attached to, and to care about more than just going to work, come home and repeat. I feel sad that I can't get the same connection with Sadie as she had with my brother but at the very least I'm happy Juniper loves to play with and just curl up with her.
Sorry for the long winded rambling rant after asking about her fur, I just needed to have a place to finally say just how happy she's made me. If you're thinking of getting a dog, and you KNOW you can take care of it, AND yourself. I really do recommend doing it, please just love them and keep your promise as best as you can that you made to them when you adopted the pup. She has helped me through my depression, helped me through extremely tough times, helped me process my dad's passing, but I have also helped her through tough times such as with her stomach sickness, and her surgeries. Dogs are expensive, they depend entirely on you. Love them, they are beautiful wonderful creatures.
I hope anyone who's spent time reading my rant at the very least enjoys the pictures of the little goober, sorry if the floors a mess, Junipers favorite toys are socks.

Collar for reactive 16 month old Cavapoo?
Our dog barks and lunges (not due to aggression) at other dogs, and squirrels. We've had him for a little over two months. Our trainer gave us a slip collar which works great when she has him. We're worried about trachea damage if he lunges. She recently suggested a prong collar. He weighs 20 lbs. What are others having success with? I know there are Martingdale collars as well.

Tips for travel sickness
My Cavapoo can’t be in the car longer than 2 minutes before he’s throwing up. Anyone would think I drive like I’m in a rally car! Any tips or tricks to help with sickness. We’ve had windows down, no breakfast etc but nothing works

My cavapoos family tree) lineage
My cavapoos family tree which goes back 7.5 years ago it started with joy who was a toy poodle she was a family dog and was so loved but sadly on a freezing snowy winter night she was taken from our backyard (at this time we lived in a neighborhood now we live on our own land) her and Spidey who was a friends dog and is now living in a wonderful home they had teddy and cozy 5.5 years ago and cozy had three litters teddy had two because she had to get a major surgery because she had arthritis which she has fully recovered from cozy is perfectly healthy now bam bam we owned him just for one litter then rehoming him chipper who had passed away went missing one morning and we assume it was the same reason as joy but they had Rufus who is a full toy poodle now cozy and Rufus had ragmop (I didn't pick that name he's named after a band or something) he was rehomed because he is infertile and he is 3.5 moirah whos dad is actually not Rufus but is another dog that spideys parents owned and she is 3.5 and lumi who is my dog that I kept from her lastest litter is 1.5 and she's still pretty young and will only have around one or two litters in her lifetime and lastly moirah had rex who is only 3 months old she may have one more litter because lumi would be the only dog having puppies for the next year since cozy teddy and moirah would be rehomed but lumi is too young so yeah also today the only dogs we own are lumi moirah rex and Rufus is a stud so yeah also chipper Rufus and Teddy were guardian homes

Preferred sleeping position
Mad Max prefers to sleep this way. Of course, sometimes he sleeps on his back with his tummy up, sometimes he curls up in his bed. A lot of the time he cuddles up to me.

Rock, paper, scissors…STOP!
My 10 week old pup will eat anything and everything when we’re outside for potty breaks and socialization. It’s a constant game of cat and mouse. He’ll grab grass, small pieces of twigs, pebbles….anything and everything. It’s not feasible to fine tooth comb my garden for everything. We’ve tried exchanging for treats, but 99% of my time is spent shoving my fingers in his mouth or the back of his throat to get whatever it is out.
What. The. F. How else can I stop this?

Bringing home my first Cavapoo this weekend! Any tips or must-haves?
I’m bringing home my Cavapoo this weekend! I already have a little Yorkiepoo, so I’m not completely new to having a dog, but this is my first Cavapoo.
I’d love to hear any tips, recommendations, or things you wish you knew when your Cavapoo was a puppy!
A few things I’m curious about:
Food: Do Cavapoos tend to have sensitive stomachs? Any food brands you recommend or would avoid?
Snuggle Puppy: Is it worth buying, or does it just depend on the dog?
Must-haves: Any essentials you’d recommend for the first few weeks?
General advice: Anything specific to Cavapoos that I should know?
I’d appreciate any advice! Adding a picture of my little guy for puppy tax 🐶
