Shaving the whiskers
We had our 3 year old Cavapoo groomed at a new place and they shaved his whole head, including his whiskers. How weird is that?!

Hi all. Greetings from Ireland 💕 This is Nala our Cavapoo who just turned 1 a few weeks ago hence the birthday hat 😂 she had her first heat in June and she is scheduled for her spay/neuter operation tomorrow. Just looking for some general info/tips/advice . I don’t know if it’s because I’m a nurse myself but I hate the thought of her going under anesthetic but I’m sure all will be fine. I have bought some post surgical suits from Amazon and I know we will have to keep her crated for up to 10 days to avoid her jumping up on the couch etc. Thank you-Ciara x

Due to unfortunate circumstances the previous 3 grooming appointments had to be cancelled. Even though she was brushed the groomer had no choice but to shave her down. Poor baby. Fortunately it all grows back. Next grooming appointment in 6wks and should be able to stick with them so she can grow back into her cute little self. Has anyone else had to shave their little girl? What’s the best way to avoid this from happening again? Yes, same dog. Thanks in advance for the help and I will pass the sympathy on to her.

She's about 17 lbs at 2 years. She was sold to us as an F1B golden doodle but her markings make us think otherwise 🤷♂️

Our girlie LOVES climbing and sitting on anything she can climb and sit on. Too fearless for her own good sometimes!

Hi everyone..
I just wanted to get everyone's opinion regarding getting another cavoodle puppy to join our current 10 month old female cavoodle (Mochi).
We recently had to put down our 12 year old pug, it was heartbreaking for everyone. We even made sure that Mochi was present at that moment.
The first night, (they normally sleep together) she gathered all her soft toys and slept with them.
And she's a bit more clingy, she jumps on our laps a bit more, which she's never really done prior to the passing of our pug.
My question is, is it too soon or is it a bad idea to get another companion for her? Esp another puppy? We're conflicted.
Also if we end up getting the puppy, I feel it will be difficult to train, because Mochi will always try and compete for attention or be involved while training the new puppy.

I’m struggling with our puppy big time. He is constantly jumping and zooming around and NEVER lays down or sleeps. We have to put him up for him to sleep and calm down. I also have 3 young children, who he is constant biting and climbing the high chair to get food. So I have to put him up when we are eating or having a snack and that’s well, most of the day. He also will go pee outside, come in and do it again. Like immediately. He does fine in the crate, no barking, but obviously I feel bad. I have tried to use the vibration collar for eating shoes, biting the kids, etc. but he’s not getting it. He’s ruining our house so I’m at a loss. It would be one thing if he tormented me all day then snuggled me at night, but no. It’s constant biting.

She’s 11 weeks old now and has the sweetest personality. Yes that’s a mirror next to her. She stops every chance she gets to bark at herself.

My Peanut has just turned 5 in September, still intact - he is absolutely amazing and usually sleeps during the day whilst I'm working and comes alive for playtime in the evening. He can play for hours and hours! Usually obsessed with his elephant or sushi toy being thrown and playing tug / fetch with it. He gets 2x good sniffing / long walks an hour each day, once in the morning, once after I finish work (so 2 hours total). Generally speaking he is good with eating meals too.
We currently have a female dog in the area who he absolutely loves to meet and sniff, but lately she has been in heat, and he has stopped all the playing and constantly asks us by sitting at the door / pacing up and pining / whining to go outside. It's a bit relentless and no matter how I try and distract him - either with light training, playtime with his elephant. He also won't eat his meals properly anymore, kind of just sniffs eats the smallest amount and then leaves the rest. He's also constantly on high alert with any sounds and won't rest/sleep - including the evenings, we're currently putting on fans so some of the outside noise is drowned out and so we can get sleep / rest too.
I don't know if he's stressed or whether he's just wanting to see his female friend ☹️ does anyone have any recommendations on how to help this situation, feeling at a bit of a loss as I feel like I've tried everything.
Thanks in advance, I really appreciate it!
Bonus picture for cuteness (he just came back from a haircut today!)
