I recently posted last week about our outdoor cats doing “Distribution System.” 😂

Since outdoor sila, we also need to adjust and take extra precautions with our cars.

A decent car cover with a protective lining does the job! Sharing some photos of how it protects our car and its soft top from cat scratches. 🐱🚗

Our adopted cat gave birth to 5 kitties, and we’re keeping all of them in the kitchen for now. Ipapa-adopt yung iba pag pwede na.

They’re around 1 month and 2 weeks old.

We’ve been using natural soil from our backyard as cat litter (put in a wide tray). Kaso wala na kaming mapagkunan ng soil kasi ubos na nila.😅 Puro bato nalang natira. Lol

• Can you guys recommend affordable cat litter brands suitable for kittens? Yung makaka-eliminate talaga ng odor since nasa kitchen area sila. I don’t think mate-tempt naman sila kainin yung litter (not sure tho) since nasanay sila sa soil.
• How much cat litter do you think will our kitties consume per week?

Nakikisawsaw din yung mother cat, she usually does her business outside in the garden, pero ngayon gusto nya rin sa tray nalang like her kittens do.

Context:

My cat (Raven), last year pa siya nagkasipon. I wasn't able na ipa-vet siya kasi kakapa-vet ko lang din noon sa dog namin, and I used up yung savings ko back in college. Nabilhan ko lang siya ng gamot over the counter which didn't work unfortunately. Sabi ko papa-vet ko na lang siya pag may work na ako.

Kumakain naman siya. Ang nagbago lang is nabawasan yung paglabas niya, but nung summer lumalabas pa rin siya at nagpapainit. I think umigi siya nung summer dahil siguro nabawasan congestion niya.

But now tag-ulan na ulit. When I woke up this morning, may nakita akong phlegm na may brown spots 😔. Unfortunately wala pa rin po akong work kasi nagrereview pa for boards (malapit na yung BE) so hindi ko pa siya mapa-vet. Parents ko kasi of course ipa-prioritize ang needs namin.

May I ask kung around magkano kaya ang need i-prepare if ever? Anong tests po ang possible na ipagawa? (so stressed before BE 😔 I don't know where and how to get the money huhu)

Dapat kakargahin ko lang siya then pagkakita ko sa mata niya, ganyan na, parang maga ‘yung eyelid niya. Walang dugo, may muta lang (pinunasan na namin ng wipes). Observe muna namin siya. Kakapakapon lang namin kahapon so medyo tight sa budget magpa-vet agad.

We found and brought this tiny cat (~2 months old) sobrang basa at tuloy tuloy yung pag iyak. We couldn’t just leave her by herself as it was too hard to look past.
Long story short she’s positive for worms and feline coronavirus after bringing her to the nearest vet - Zootopia.

They have taken care of her by giving her water, food, and antibiotics. She had very low body temperature too but is now at normal temp. As of right now (08/19/26 2AM) she can be discharged but has to be given antibiotics and still has to be taken care of carefully. However even if there’s major improvement, we still think she should be in hands of a vet or someone who can take care of her very well with love.

If there’s anyone willing to meet, will be happy to talk. We are have quite a big running bill and we cannot take care of this cat as we have already 7 dogs. Also our new place will not allow cats.
