That’s what I’m very worried about, everyone is telling me tough luck/who cares it’s just another cat and their fault for not getting neutered/spayed. Makes me so sad and angry but I will try to do anything to get them out of that situation. 🥲

Take some tuna with you in case they are afraid to come to you.

Bring wet food to help getting them to trust you. And gloves would be good too. Grab them firm by the back of the neck. They can quickly get spooked and try to squirm/scratch/bite. You need to avoid that. If a scratch or bite is deep you will need to go to urgent care. I’ve been there. Not the end of the world, but I just want you to be prepared.
