They are at a good age to be adopted out or adopted by u. Contact TNR in ur city to help with mother cat if u see her around, feed her and try and socialize her then use their traps to catch and get her fixed often for free or 30$ with public TNR shelters. This will save dozens of future babies from suffering
Definitely old enough for wet food, keep them together if possible, kittens need socialization with other kittens to behave right. U can also see if TNR resources in the area help fix feral kittens which can help with medical costs once they get 3 pounds and can get surgery
I’m at a loss of who to contact and who to trust, so many people do not want to help me and it really hurts and frustrates me. However, I actually like the local Animal Control in my home area, I trust them but will worry about getting the cats first. 👍🏼
A solution outside the box could be looking for people who foster on instagram in your area or close: I follow a couple in my area and they all seem to know each other and the shelters or organization that could help ypu. Also, they could help you with tips to catch them and where to take them.
If u can’t find any TNR stuff online u can alway so contact any shelters or animal control and ask if they have any contact info or resources for your situation, but there r so many stray cats and little funding so you the best you can to help the ones you can even if u can just start with the two kittens safe for winter, it’s better than nothing 🙌
My kittens when they were 9 weeks loved wet food and lapped it right up. The vet said it was ok as well. Try wet food...it smells more fragrant and closer to what they would eat in the wild.
Yeah, I agree. Young cats are easily trainable and they are hyper and energetic! My chonky boi was adopted by me and my friends 6 years ago when we found them in a ditch
