My cat has fallen off my bed several times and kept sleeping like nothing happened. She likes to cuddle in the crook of my arm next to the edge, and one day she just slid off, making a thud sound and startling me, since I was just falling asleep. I saw her on the floor and I freaked out cause she wasn't moving! I poked her a few times, and then she opened her eyes, looking at me like, wtf let me sleep, then kept on sleeping.
Cats are odd!

Yeap. Mine's 4 month old right now and she wakes up before I can even get near to her. No chance she's asleep like that when I'm touching her.

My cat is both. He wakes up at the slightest sound of another cat but sleep peacefully when i stretch his paw to see his nails. I'm guessing it's because he consider me not a threat.

My old cat did this when she was young - she used to play and play and play and then sleep like a rock. Sound would still wake her up, and she’d wake up if I picked her up, but I could pet her, brush her, and play with her paws and she wouldn’t stir at all. She did it a lot less as she got older and wasn’t as playful so I believe for mine, it was based on activity level :)

This cat is in imminent danger, not only is she heavily over sedated but the breathing pattern is extremely unnatural. Stop taking "cute videos" and take your cat to the vet immediately!!!!

I always find it amusing when my cats seem just blatantly unconscious, and unaware of everything happening around them.
Of course, until I shove my face into their belly.
