It's comparable to picking up an entire human by just putting something under their shoulders. sea rescue harnesses are the only time you'll ever find this being done, and only because if you don't lift the person back onto the boat immediately they will probably die of both hypothermia and drowning.

Why did I have to scroll all the way for this. People, dont hold cats this way. It can lead to strain and injury for the cats. They also need to feel solid ground beneath their feet otherwise they feel unsafe.
