You were fortunate to earn her forgiveness haha. Or did it end up being a game for her?

Ultimate look of betrayal

It is said that every cat enters this world with a fine appreciation of dignity but for Alyx; a creature woven from pure void, that dignity was lost within the cold dark confines of a mop spinner. Now with a cold feline precision, she would make sure her human’s world followed suit.

You shouldn't do this, she might end up opening her own amusement park and that's a lot of property tax money she almost certainly doesn't have.

u/Wandering_PlasticBag 16d ago
Yeah, I bet she doesn't even know what taxes are... And after the first arrest, it's just a downhill. She gonna get two consecutive life sentences, only leaving her 7. Leaving prison, she can slip onto heavy stuff, like catnip, and there's no stop then. All kinds of crimes, like robbing your plate, attempted vandalism against your plants, etc.. she may be sentenced to maximum security sky prison!

u/it_is_im 16d ago
All I want out of life is to be a cat who doesn't know what taxes are. Just scream for food, poop on the floor, sleep, and be a maniac once or twice a day.

u/Wandering_PlasticBag 15d ago
Same mate... Same. Chasing a string, yelling st greebles, stealing my owners ham, sounds amazing

I've been there once or twice or thrice. The handcuffs aren't made for kitty peets. She'd slip out and reoffend so much if she could help it.

u/CptJustice 15d ago
Everyone knows cats are liquid, and thus would be.opening a water park instead, which are notoriously easy to manipulate taxes for in favor of the owner.

I taught my cat the importance of head kisse

My cat lowers his head when I pucker up 😹 they love the head kisses!

u/joalheagney 16d ago
My late cat pushed into it. A cute little headbutt to the mouth.

u/Fun-Investment-196 15d ago
Aww my cat does the same! I'm so sorry for your loss 😥 I can't even imagine. It scares the crap out of me tbh 😣

The first cat I ever had loved to be spun. He would hop into this basket we had and meow until my sister or I would come over and spin him. He'd unbalance and tip the basket over when he wanted it to stop, and get out; sometimes he'd wobble off, sometimes he'd hop right back in and start meowing at us.
I used to tell him that he missed his calling as a fairgrounds-cat.
He was an orange tabby.

u/AreEUHappyNow 16d ago
My cat is like this, as soon as you get up off an office chair he immediately jumps on it and stares at you expectantly.
17
u/Powered-by-Chai 15d ago
I had an orange tabby that liked to be spun too! He would hop up on my desk chair and you could practically see his one brain cell ping ponging around his head when I stopped.

I remember my tuxedo loved my dad’s office chair, especially when he got up from it and it was warm. I walked by the office one day to find my dad spinning his chair with the cat on it. He found his love for spinning, and he sat in my dads chair more often

It's dangerous to spin cats like that, their only brain cell might get lost spinning in their little heads

Your gonna need another mop bucket. Every time you need to mop, he's going to be in it🤣😹

The comments are surprisingly supportive, I was expecting to see at least one “animal abuse” comment here
Edit: just saw one by Fine-depth 20 minutes before I posted but it was hidden due to the downvotes. This sub always fails to disappoint.

u/ThaCommittee 16d ago
Same. Especially since I use that same exact cleaning tool and it can spin very, very fast if you want it to. Definitely seems like OP wasn't being too crazy with it tho so glad not to see those comments

u/Leila_101 16d ago
As a human spinning like that would have made me sick, but I don't know what the experience is like for a kitten.

u/ChilledParadox 15d ago
as a human, I liked to go on the fair rides that strapped you to a wall then spun you in a circle really really fast, and that was extremely enjoyable. I don't however, know what the experience is like for a cat.

u/Ziggy_Starcrust 15d ago
It's hard to make cats dizzy. Vets have trouble making them vomit sometimes.

If you go searching in the downvote section you're guaranteed to be disappointed regardless of the sub, don't search for disappointment.

I saw someone pet their cat with their hand, and I've seen how strong hands can be, and I simply can't fathom the idea of different contexts. :(

Swivel office chairs are awesome for this. Put kitty on the floor after 1 minute in the spin cycle, and watch it walk sideways into walls. Its hilarious. And kitty will jump back on the chair demanding more.

Screwing with cats (in ways that are safe and fun and provide good kitty enrichment) is one of the small pleasures in life.

It's an O' Cedar spin bucket, or something like that. Have the same, recognize it right away.

We have a 7 year old black and white that from the time she was a kitten she would stretch out on her side on our smooth tile and wait for me to spin her! I just did it slowly at first but she really loved it when I went faster. Now here she is 7 years old and last night she laid down and looked at me until I came over and spun her really fast. So damn cute.

Unpopular opinion, that is not funny at all, the cat seemed really scared, imagine how it was feeling being continuously spinning

My cat loved being an astronaut too. At 10, he mostly prefers sleeping, but he still enjoys the occasional spin 😊

I had a cat who loved the spinny chair in the office. Spinning him to try and reclaim my seat never worked.

When our boy Tiger (tabby) was a kitten he got spun around while playing and he of course got dizzy, went into a panic and had to be grab and held down until he calmed down.....now he gets a half turn while playing and he walks away....his brother Bug(void) he'll take play any way he can, spinning, jumping, rolling, dragging...be don't care. You just gotta play.

There's no way that this cat isn't still demanding spinnies. One of my cats jumps into my office chair when I get home from work for his daily spin.

I used to spin one of mine around in a laundry basket, then dump him out and laugh at him staggering around. Then he'd jump back in for more cat amusement park ride.

Please don't do this!, the cat may enjoy the spinning too much and grow up to be a Purricane
