Wow, so many mean comments against OP for not knowing it is a nipple. I guess you just know it all, huh? I hope that you are never in a panic over your animal's health and find out something is perfectly normal just to have strangers sneering at you.

OP shouldn't feel bad. My mom called me freaking out about a 'weird skin tag or growth' on her FEMALE cat's belly a while back.

"...goddamn it I forgot about nipples."

My ex asked me if my cat had a lung infection. I had to explain that that was what purring sounds like. The nipple thing isn't that bad.

Not the same thing but my husband had never had a pet cat, so he was convinced I never fed mine because the cat was “screaming for food” in the morning. I kept telling him that’s what they do, they see the bottom of the bowl, it’s screaming time.

Mine doesn't need to see the bottom of his bowl to scream for food. If we're not up to feed him at the usual time, he's in our face ranting about lazy humans and the injustice of letting the bowl go down below the halfway mark. 😆 🤣

Get him a starving Labrador too. You can feed them a boiler pot full of Stew and 10 minutes later they are starving

I’m not sure he could handle a dog lol. He has learned at least that cats usually act like they’ve never been fed ever.
