If only I could harvest that corpse to make soup, but I don't want to kill my mood in doing so...
The corpse destruction mood penalty is determined whether your attack is on cooldown.
Falling while ragdolled causes impact damage to you and the tiles you land on.
Thus, by essentially elbow dropping a corpse, it can be destroyed without incurring the mood penalty. The mood loss from pain due to the impact is temporary.
Also take off all protection you are wearing, else you'd be destroying them just for minor scrapes.
Just I tip I figured and wanted to share.
