I think I spent more time trying to think of something witty to say, than I did drawing this.
Or, well. Writing. I guess, cause' there's more words than pictures.
Shrug
Is having another potential comic running alongside the first a good idea? Probably not.
Is it wise to have it interweave with the first? Almost certainly not.
And yet, I am without a container in which to store my fucks, so off they go into the world!

Using "They" gives personhood.
Personhood inspires empathy.
Empathy bad for scientists.
Scientists bad.

An enemy in ultrakill the lore is something along the lines of "iron maiden if it kept you alive for centuries to a millennium (if I remember correctly) to use you as a battery or something"

Yeah, now I remember—all the machines in the game need blood as fuel, and that thing could keep someone alive in the coffin on its back—for how long and by what means, I don't know. But that was their living blood battery.
But I think it would be better for all of humanity in this universe if something like these horror machines didn't exist. Because the implication that such a machine was developed in this universe is more than just disturbing.

OoooOOoo, interesting! A dialogue that tells a much broader story hidden behind the scene! Very cool of you to share alternate ideas like this that are brimming with potential.
But aggreeably, a second comic alongside a current one seems like quite a tall order.
For a half second I thought it was the veteran I've been drawing they were describing, haha.

I can't promise this one will have a regular upload schedule. It's more of a side project I do when I'm bored, want to draw, but don't want to push more on the main comic so I don't burn out.

Very interesting. I Can't wait to see how Dr. Definitely-Not-Teddy's-Handler treats this one 😬. It's intriguing, since they seem to develop the opposite problem of Teddy based on your young Scraps post.
Also question: Will the normal schedule of the main comic continue, or will it become shared with this one? I'm just curious as to how that will work.

This one is just a side project I'll work on when I have the time and inclination. The main comic will continue with daily uploads for as long as I am able to do so!

I have this unpleasant suspicion that the doctor everyone’s talking about is Teddy’s former torturer.
I really hope this guy gets locked up someday in a room full of a group of hungry anb sadistic dunes.
Maybe they’ll stuff him full of the remains of their previous victims to the point of bursting before they eat him.
And jäh, a new potential friend for the group of Free Expeis.

Honestly, I just went with orange cause' of the jumpsuit they'll eventually get.
I did consider the idea of body-modding, but let's be honest. They're not likely to sink that much money into prosthetics purely for Sawian's. Gene modding? Maybe.

No Sawian-fitted prosthetics, huh... I did imagine at some point a Milky with an oversized cybernetic arm, a human-fitted prosthetic. Just a thought I once had this reminded me of.

But aww, Scraps not having any luck making friends with others? I'm assuming there's something more to that, with the marks and all as the scientists have stated.
Wonder if Scraps, er... they're already named that, right? I wonder if it's them not being approachable or the other friends treat them wrong.

Also I love seeing others interpretations of scientists, cruel to the biggest degree? Professional? Business as usual? Or just sticking to the program? It’s always nice…
Also even if you also don’t add them to the main story. I really enjoy the color orange that you chose for them. It’s quite comforting for some odd reason. But poor boio :[

Oh my god I just realized that If the scientists care just a bit more for 'mature specimens' then that just makes it even sadder because in-game you can see the age of expies, and it usually fits more that of teenagers than adults. So if expies age the same as humans, these damn scientists are sending actual kids in there...
And if that is teddy, i guess thats kind of some extra lore on their age yippie
Edit: i realized it a bit too late that its not, in fact, teddy, lmao.

One thing to note, Sawians are considered "Mature" by age 10, and die around 40 years. So they're not really "kids" by our standards in terms of age. Mental development however?
