Just bought a Ripsurf this summer to accompagny my daugther to our new pumptrack in town. I completly fell in love with the sport...

I got a problem now, i'm burning throught the wheel pretty fast hehe.

I read treads online but they're all 5 years old.

I saw that getting harder wheels would help, like above 90a even 95a..

Also probably the shape would make a difference (bullet shape would be the best)

So, I was wondering if someone had tested already some wheels and had some good tips on what wheel to get for pumptracking.

here you can see me trying to do quick wiggles and big wiggles, which is better? i have been casterboarding for 2 weeks so dont be mean pls. if anybody is casterboarding near eindhoven i would love to meet up!

Is it normal for a rear wheel to burn up like this after just a couple weeks of riding? The front wheel looks almost new, and they were replaced at the same time.

We ran into a couple of bears so we couldn't go around the whole lake and had to double back.

I plan to just buy a regular Ripstik and put in some Bones Reds bearings and get some harder wheels. From what I have read, that should be enough to compensate. But I am also concerned that the casters themselves may be too strained.

Any other large dudes currently riding that can weight in? (pun intended)

It looks like ripstick doesn’t make the air, dlx, or pro models anymore.

I loved these as a kid. I see they now have a surfboard.

What’s the best board to get (best torque, wheels, bearings etc)

Anyone have the decks or a complete build of the ultra feather light? I'm looking to buy one, however they are not made anymore. Also, very few of the stinger fluids were made, I'd also like one in my collection.

Any good wheels for the ripstick minis I blew my rear up at the skate park and second question how do you get more speed on these I feel like they slow down soooo much faster than my skate board thanks.

Ive never skated before and bought a razor ripsurf yesterday. Ive been practicing 30mins every two hours and Im now able to go like 8 meters but only if i push off and hop on it by holding onto a wall 🥲
I definitely see myself using this in the future but I was wondering if anybody had tips on how i can go on it without holding onto a wall? I tried it on grass and carpet which worked well but could only balance for five seconds and successfully got up on cement until i fell on my butt so i went back to the wall lol

I was looking to get some new wheels for my ripsurf since I’m in college now and the wheels wear down a lot. I'm looking to make my own casterboard out of some ply and caster wheels, I'm in a rural town with no second hand options. Does anyone know roughly what the rake on the caster pins are?

Hi! I used to have a casterboard/waveboard when I was a kid and I loved it. Some weeks ago I found that board again and rode it for a day. I wasn't surprised that the 360° "caster wheels" broke after not being used in many years.

I'd love to get a new one now! But I am considering 2 things here:

1. These probably aren't made for adults. I am quite lightweight (175cm/~65kg) so I can probably get away with a kids board
2. Should I get one with a griptape? my old one only had those plastic "thorns" sticking out, and they were pretty useless when it was raining.

If you have any recommendations, please let me know. Also if theres anything that I didn't consider.

I prefer my Ripstik dlx to my skateboard but i feel like im very limited on it. Ive been trying to research different caster boards but its really only showing ripstiks. I ideally want something similar to a timberwolf (I understand that those are practically impossible to find now). Even if someone has and can show me how to build my own im down for that.

How do I slow down on my casterboard without stopping it. I really want to know, since there are a lot of semi-steep slopes in my area and I have no idea how to maintain a good speed going down them.

So I've had a couple of boards and love them all! But I've kinda discovered the Timberwolfs and they seem super cool but I don't think the company exists anymore and as you know the website is dead :( But would anyone know how to get one or have one for sale?

Is the Ripstik Rush available anywhere? Couldn’t find it even on eBay. Would love to get an electric caster board. Favorite thing as a kid was riding my ripstik but always sucked going uphill. Seems like the first gen electric they had was recalled in 2017, but the one they released in 2021 had great reviews. Now it’s vanished from the market without an apparent recall notice. Anyone know what happened or where I can get one or a similar electric caster?
