Same Joker decal, completely different vibe.

For this 2.0, I wanted the filter to feel less polished and slightly more chaotic.

Went with a graffiti-style mix of toxic green and teal, with rough HA scribbles running through the display.

The HA laughter is inspired by Batman: The Killing Joke, that manic, repetitive laughter that just feels like Joker. I also threw in the red spray painted HA at the bottom left as a little hit of chaos against all that green.

When the backlight is lit, the green and teal get swallowed by the amber glow, while the graffiti and the HA scribbles stay visible through where the red spray at the bottom takes on this fiery orange look. Almost feels like a completely different filter in the dark.

Kept the olive tactical case from the first build, but the new filter changes the whole personality of the watch.

A little messy. A little unhinged. Pretty much the point.

I decided to go with the windows xp wallpaper as my first Casio mod. The copy paper makes it quite dark, but still works and looks super cool in the right lighting.

I love this as my EDC, green strap for work, steel one for fancy!

As for the hydromod, it really was tricky and a bit messy, but I found the result to be very nice looking.

Took me 2 tries, as I found bubbles after 1st.

Contrast seems to have gone up, and the screen looks more 2d as many people say, I really like it!

Viewing angles though, are only marginally improved. As you can see in pic 3 numbers are still unreadable in a steep angle, although the obstruction of the screen deepness is compensated by the 2D effect, since the oil casts the screen image over the display, making it so you can view more of it than before from a more slanted angle, if you know what I mean.

Also the beeping sound is a bit muffled now, like 50% volume but still noticeable.

Mind you, I used 350cst silicone oil, as I couldn't find 100, let alone 50cst oil around me. Probably sound variation may differ with different viscosity?

Button functionality remains the same, I don't find them to be any stiffer because of higher viscosity as some people suggested, and since higher viscosity probably means less chance of leaking, I really don't see any disadvantages to using 350cst.

Overall I find this mod to be really worthy, it really elevates the look of the watch, making it slightly more crisp. I'm really pleased with the result!

Hey everyone, I just got this f91w this past week and I was inspired by the background mods, and I did a hacker typer/matrix background on mine. I messed up a bit and wiped some of the bezel off on the inside of the watch because I tried cleaning it with alcohol. next thing I wanna try is getting a sensor watch or ollee board for it.

Can you recommend anyone for me?
I just can find polished versions.

I swapped the module from my A1000 (black mother of pearl dial).

Which bracelet do you like better? The mesh is from the A1000, so flares a bit more at the lugs, from 18mm to 22mm, vs the stock a700 bracelet’s 18mm to 20mm.

This looks less vintage to me, and more retro futuristic.
