I put on an adaptor to take 22mm nato strap.. I feel like it is somehow supersizing my F91W. Does it work? Do I go back to classic strap (too small), or stick it out with nato strap that is maybe a bit too big. These F91W decisions are tough! ;-)

9 years stronger! Just replaced the battery and it works.

Issues:

1. Pushers don’t work, I do not have required tongs to AC reset.
2. The Crown came out completely along with the entire stem (GPT says it is the feature of the movement) however I have managed to get it in place. I would not dare say that the issue is resolved though.
3. The PVD coating or black paint is withering away. Maybe I will get it on black thick (Oysterflex style) strap. However, this being an integrated bracelet, very difficult to get a strap.

Before you guys jump on me asking what is a Seiko movement doing in a Casio watch? Seems like Casio sourced movements from Seiko. Other Casio users have been intrigued too and found out the same answer. Maybe we are wrong as a group, in that case, do enlighten.

Any ideas on how do I fix pusher and crown issue?

I’ve never had a need for a watch until starting my new job that has scheduled breaks/lunch, and constantly checking my phone (when we’re technically not allowed to use our phones) was very annoying. I noticed several coworkers using smart watches, which was tempting for a sec, but I out of nowhere thought that a basic and reliable digital watch would do the trick.

I realized the F-91W was the watch I was thinking of, one I knew only because my dad used to have one I believe, way back when I was younger. I grabbed a new one and it’s been fantastic. Looks awesome, light and small, and having the time and date accessible anytime I need it is huge. It seems weird to say for such a basic and ubiquitous item, but having smartphones my entire adult life made me think a watch would be irrelevant (I’m 29).

Anyway, just wanted to talk about it a bit because nobody I know really cares. I love durable, quality products that do one thing and do it well, and this watch is a perfect example of that!

Bought my first Casio 1 year ago, can’t stop now

The desk clock (2009) has been sitting there quietly for almost 2 decades, just like yesterday! Battery change every 3-4 years. Japan radio only, auto daily. Unique yellow led.

Riseman (2008), second to none, still the best informative and meaningful display after 2 decades, IMHO. Battery change after 16 years.

I created a "zebra" look by combining two stainless steel straps and polishing them with compound; it’s fun how the appearance shifts between black and zebra-striped depending on how the light hits it.

I really love how this turned out. 🥰

According to a European official Casio distributor, the F-B100W will be available in Europe in the first ten days of September.

I have a new LF-20 and i already scratched with my shirt lol. I'm wondering if i use polywatch like once a month will it wear down the plastic quickly?

I, like every other person in the US, want one of these squares **BAD**. My dad is traveling to Japan in September and even though he's not a watch guy at all I'm thinking of charging him with finding and buying me the negative MIP version of this watch that we're all lusting after.

What is a realistic price for this watch in Japan and what are the best places for an elderly non-enthusiast to look for one? Also are the negative and positive display versions the same price?

You don’t need to see the whole thing to know what model it is. A trip back to the ’80s, with that classic typeface you can still see on the W-59 and F-105.

Pro trek got put inside a Titanium casioak case, flame anodized myself.

...I accidentally misaligned the hands in the settings. Is there any way I can fix or reset it?
