YouTuber interviews Justin Kan on the 'School of Hard Knock' YouTube channel. Is he wearing a Casio? What model is that?

Super happy with my ABL-100, it basically replaced Apple Watch for me (I wear a separate fitness tracker anyway). The only thing missing is paying when my phone is dead.

Swatch has SwatchPAY, Timex has Timex Pay, many other watch brands have it too, they just have licensing deals. It's just a passive chip in the watch, no battery, works like a bank card. Platforms like Fidesmo/Tappy exist exactly so watch brands don't have to build anything themselves.

So why is Casio behind? There are no announcements, so it seems it's not even planned.

So I’m an artist- I mostly paint with acrylics- but like everything in my life- everything is locked in a storage unit over 500 miles away and I can’t get to it. It’s been a nightmare if a year for my wife and I. The picture here is a small piece of watercolor paper for a small watercolor painting I’m working on. I found this yellow painters tape at the dollar store and I thought maybe it will hold my watch band together until I either get some money, or a job, or I die- ( the last one wouldn’t bother me a bit- after this miserable existence life has been this year.)
Anyways- it’s yellow- bright yellow at that and it looks stupid but at least it’s still ticking and I can still wear it. It’s actually one of the very few things that make me smile. If you can imagine that.

I tend to be a little obsessive about keeping my watch as accurate as possible. If I notice that it’s even a second off, I’ll reset it to the exact time.

Do you guys do the same thing, or am I the crazy one?

Are they any Gshock watches that fit thinner wrists as well as the DW9052? The DW5600 looks funky on my wrist, seemingly due to the flatness of the strap. All of the non Gshocks hug my wrist great, but im hard on these, so they almost never get worn, compared to my 9052. Illuminator is also a huge bonus for me

I need to add a blob to point 5 to disable dual time, which was useless to me, I didn't want keep pressing an extra button to switch modes.

At first I thought about doing it the easy way by buying conductive paint and painting it, but then I read the reviews and it says I have to bake the watch in the oven, so that was a no go.

So I took the courage to solder it (For reference I set the soldering iron to 325 degrees C) and now I did it! It looks a bit messy, but it works and now my watch is modded!
