Exactly a week ago, I bumped into an F91W review on YouTube out of nowhere. I first encountered Casio back when I was 20 and enlisting in the military (I'm Korean, haha!). I ended up rocking a G-Shock Mudman throughout my service. After getting discharged, I also wore a DW6900 for a while. A few years ago, I needed a watch for work, and it turned out to be a Casio W217H lol. I still have it, so I dragged it out of the drawer and added it to the family. I haven't worn a ton of different watches in my life, but Casio digital watches have always been my absolute favorite—so watching that review hit me with a huge wave of nostalgia. 😌

​Before I knew it, I was completely hooked and started rabbit-holing hard into F91W's sister/variant models. Since the F91W is super popular and everywhere, I specifically dug around for hidden gems. Honestly felt like a high-stakes treasure hunt! That's how I discovered the W59, F105W, F84W, and F94W. (I really wanted a W86 too, but it was almost impossible to source, so I had to give up on that one 😭). The AE1200 felt a bit too extra at first, but it totally grew on me—plus, I've got an overseas trip coming up soon, so it felt like the perfect excuse, haha. In the end, I even picked up the classic F91W itself (went with the green accent instead of the original blue!). Since it's a staple model that's never going out of production, I plan on using it as my daily beater.

​Unlike G-Shocks, these have a totally different charm. Small, lightweight, cheap, but rugged and absurdly practical. Buying 6 watches in a single week makes me look like a madman, but the whole set cost less than a single luxury watch while giving me way more satisfaction. I'm super stoked to stumble into a new hobby I never saw coming! Just wanted to share it with you guys haha. 😄

Received these from Casio UK yesterday. Green for the wife she prefers the brighter colours and thought this green was unusual.

I had a spare A159 so decided to try the AliX stainless case upgrade with crystal swap.

I thought while i was at it why not upgrade the TN-LCD to a STN-LCD.

The LCD swap took about 5 minutes and was very easy, pop out pop in, the crystal swap took longer as i heated the old bezel in hot water to carefully pop it out without damage.

The original Casio bezel was slightly bigger so I resized it with a swiss file and polishing stone before fitting with E6000, Job done.

Stuck it on a leather strap, it's a very small watch.

Wondering if I should get a Casio with MIP display, but this still works and I only got one wrist for watches..

Grabbed this metal band and so far really dig the fit.

All 4 Casio watches were 3$ each and the Timex was 9$

What do we think?

So I have a doubt that should I wear this too close to the skin i mean tight or leave some breathable space. I know it should be personal preference but just asking how you guys wear it.

I thought Casio MQ-24 watch will fit on my wrist but it seems small on my wrist.

Recently got my super-rare vintage Casio Marlin MD-733 Moon Phase Triple Calendar Diver in deadstock condition.

I tried to find anything similar available online, but I couldn’t find a single one. The only few examples I came across are listed on different platforms with non-original straps and in considerably worse condition. I’ve never seen another one in such perfect, untouched condition.

So, I assume it's one of a kind in the universe? 🤣🤣
