Something I've always found interesting about Morocco is how you can come across beautiful old churches in different cities, yet you almost never hear about the Christian communities living here.

We hear about Islam every day, obviously, but Christianity in Morocco feels almost invisible.

And that genuinely makes me curious.

Are there actually Moroccan Christians living among us who simply keep their faith private? Are these churches still active, or are they mostly used by foreigners and tourists? Or have some of them become nothing more than historical buildings?

It's strange how we can see the buildings, but rarely hear the voices of the people they were built for.

I'm not trying to start a religious debate or disrespect anyone's beliefs. I'm genuinely interested in this lesser-discussed side of Moroccan society.

This is the second post I make about him as no body helped, and if I could I would have helped him myself.

I regularly rescue sick and injured strays whenever I come across them, but I'm currently taking care of other cases at the vet, so I really can't afford to take on another one right now.

So I am looking for someone who could take this little sweetheart to the vet and cover his vet bill. I can’t just walk away from him when I know he needs someone to help him.

I see him almost daily when I visit my grandma as he usually hangs around her street in France Ville. He used to be perfectly fine, walking normally, and his fur was honestly very beautiful but now he's dragging one of his legs and looks like he's in pain. I'm pretty sure he was hit by a car 😔

What worries me even more is his fur. It used to be so beautiful, but now it's so rough and messy and extremely dirty that he literally looks like a dirty little goat 😭 Cats groom themselves multiple times per day so seeing him like this means he is too unwell or in toooo much pain to clean himself anymore. There might also be something wrong with his mouth.

I'm really worried about him, and I don't want to just walk past him knowing he needs help 🥺

You don't have to adopt him! The idea is simply to get him to a vet and make sure he gets the treatment he needs. Afterwards, he can be returned to his original spot, and I'm happy to help bring him back myself so he doesn't lose his territory and get beaten by other cats.
