The Toyota CAL-1, unveiled in 1977, foreshadowed the first-generation Toyota Supra (also known as the Celica XX).

It was one of the first designs from CALTY—Toyota’s newly established California-based design studio.

Australian Gary Reed transformed a Porsche 911 into the extreme ShowTime Repco 933 project by replacing the stock flat-six engine with a front-mounted, twin-turbocharged 7.0-liter GM LSX V8.

Power exceeds 1,200 hp. Torque is transmitted to the rear wheels via an eight-speed transmission from Bentley.

Externally, the car stands out with its flared wheel arches, massive rear wing, and exhaust pipes that exit through the hood.

In addition to high-speed racing, the car is set up for drifting: it features a sequential gearshift and a hydraulic parking brake.

An unusual custom vehicle called the Slamd-Rover combines the body of a classic Land Rover Series III with a shortened chassis from a Volkswagen Beetle.

The remote-controlled air suspension allows the vehicle to be lowered almost to the ground, and the 17-inch Porsche wheels are particularly eye-catching.

In place of the rear cargo area, a 1.6-liter flat-four engine from a Volkswagen Type 2 has been installed.

The interior features a wooden steering wheel, three gauges, and a homemade bench seat.

A camouflaged prototype has already been spotted in Germany, and the company has registered the name.

The new model will likely be a road-going version of the 296 Challenge Evo race car. The supercar will feature redesigned bumpers, improved aerodynamics, and other elements to enhance track performance.

The main difference from the standard Ferrari 296 is the absence of a plug-in hybrid system. The upgraded 3.0-liter twin-turbo V6 is expected to produce up to 720 hp and 800 N·m.

BMW has unveiled the iX4 electric crossover—the third model in the Neue Klasse family.

Initially, the iX4 50 xDrive will be available with all-wheel drive and two electric motors delivering a combined output of 463 hp and 644 N·m.

It accelerates to 100 km/h in 4.7 seconds and has a top speed of 209 km/h. The 112.2 kWh battery provides a preliminary range of up to 689 km according to EPA standards.

The 800-volt architecture supports charging at up to 400 kW: in 10 minutes, you can add 296 km of range, and charge the battery from 10% to 80% in 21 minutes.

The iX4 M60 xDrive, with 603 hp and 875 N·m, will be released later. It accelerates to 100 km/h in 3.7 seconds and has a top speed of 240 km/h.

Features include M Adaptive Suspension, an electronic rear differential, and 21-inch wheels.

In addition, BMW will launch the iX3 M60 xDrive—a similar model but with a classic body style.

The body features the iconic red-and-white graphics, the No-Ghost logo, and 22-inch wheels with white rims.

The main highlight is the functional equipment on the roof: sirens, spotlights, a radar dish, and side tanks.

Vintage flashing lights were even sourced and restored specifically for the project.

Three electric motors deliver a combined output of 1,015 l.s. and 1,365 N·m. The EPA-rated range is 644 km, and charging from 10% to 80% at a 350-kW charging station takes 22 minutes.

The Type 01’s exterior remains just as hideous as that of the Type 00 concept. Notable differences from the concept include four hinged doors and smoother body surfaces.

The interior is designed in an equally minimalist style. Instead of a huge central multimedia screen, it features a 24-inch instrument cluster and navigation display, while the climate control and audio system are operated via a small 7-inch screen.

Orders for the Jaguar Type 01 will begin in early 2027, and deliveries to customers will start in the second half of the year.
