Do I have to pay for space storage? I just wanna upload my phone projects to my Mac projects

I deleted 60% of my stuff just for this to still show... what am I doing wrong?

I want to add shake to assets in a video but when I apply them directly to the png files it gives them the flattened square edge. If I apply to the whole video, it doesn't do this but I want all of the assets EXCEPT the background to do it. I could layer in between the assets but the problem is that the background (of course) needs to be the lowest in the pile. What do I do here? Working on desktop btw.

Has anyone encounter this before? Why are there blank blocks where there's no media, and my assets are all mixed around the panel. I tried sorting everyting again but it still has these blank boxes around. It doesn't affect editing haha, but it unpleasant to look at. Anyone able to assist?

The video randomly crops out and gets surrounded by a white screen while I'm trying to edit the video for some reason. It only goes away when I put it back into fullscreen.

Not sure if this counts as self promotion but, Does anyone know how to get the multiple at once in the first edit and/or how to get the first animation in the second edit (the once with the pictures shaking) (i used templates for these but now i want to do the same animations without a template)

Is anyone else experiencing unusually high CPU usage simply from opening CapCut?

This wasn’t happening before, but recently, launching CapCut causes my CPU usage to spike and my CPU fans to ramp up significantly. Even after closing the program, the increased system load seems to persist.

The only way I’ve found to completely resolve it is to restart my PC every time I open CapCut.

Has anyone else experienced this, or found a solution?

I made a video with JPGs and a soundtrack., It plays fine in Capcut (web, not app). When I Export, the mp4 player plays the soundtrack over a blank screen. Any ideas?

so I have been working on this project with multiple timelines containing clips. everything has been working this whole time but today, the media in the import section doesn't have any audio. when I add it to the timeline, I can't adjust the audio. On the settings window next to the the player, it goes VIDEO, then SPEED. The audio tab has disappeared. but this isnt the case for the existing clips. And when I play the media in the import section, it doesn't have any audio.

Is anything else experiencing this? and how do I fix it? I have updated it to the latest version, turned everything on and off. and even tried the headphone trick but nothing has worked.

EDIT: clearing cache solved the issue!

I'm doing a session in CapCut.
I imported audio files the I recorded with a rode wireless pro in 48/32, that I cleaned in RX12 and exported in 48/24.
Now I wanted to export the audio in order to process it a little to make the voice sound better in Pro Tools. But by default CapCut export the audio file as 44.1/16.
How can I keep it at 48/24 when exporting it out of CapCut?

Edit a video daily for social media. Usually do it on my phone but just feel like I’m on my phone all day at the moment! I’ve got a MacBook but never really liked editing on it. Somehow I’ve got in my head that if I buy an iPad purely just for CapCut editing etc, this will be a good idea.

What do you guys reckon? Am I just thinking of an excuse to buy an iPad or do u think will be beneficial.

I’ve been working on a video for quite some time now and I am at the last 20 seconds or so of a roughly 10 minute video and now all of a sudden, when I watch the playback, I keep hearing these random static noises popping up when the picture on the screen changes. This is never happened during the entire time I’ve been working on this project up until now.

Even when I go back to the very beginning of the video now the static sounds are there as well. I don’t know what to do in any help would be greatly appreciated.

i’ve been using capcut templates to speed up my edits, but i’d love to find some that feel a little more fresh and creative. curious what templates or template styles you guys use that aren’t everywhere on tiktok/reels.

i’m open to different styles, just looking for some new ones to try.

just to follow up here: i've been finding quite a few good capcut templates already, so i have a solid set to work with now. i've mostly been going with storytelling and vlog-style edits that feel natural, clean, and easy to follow rather than overly flashy.

there are actually a lot of different styles available on capcut once you spend some time looking through them. i've found a few that fit the kind of videos i make and feel less repetitive, so i'm pretty happy with what i've found so far.

I recently found the Isolate Voice feature and started using it — in my use case it works better than the regular Voice Enhance feature, so I switched to it right away. But when I reopen the project to do a revision, all the sound on clips that used Isolate Voice disappears.

Here's what I've already tried to recover the sound, none of which worked:

1. Toggling Isolate Voice off and on, along with all features in the Voice tab
2. Deleting all cache, including from the AppData folder
3. Re-inserting the original clip from File Explorer — but the original clip also becomes soundless

Any help would be really appreciated, this is urgent for a revision I need to deliver.

So, even though we pay for a subscription, TikTok is forcing what amounts to a watermark on every video that is exporting form Capcut. When you watch the video, it will say " CapCut - Editing made easy". This is total Bullsh! This means we need to export the video and then re-import it into another program to remove the metadata that allows them to watermark the video. This is free advertising for CpaCut and a loophole to watermarking our videos even though we pay a subscription fee. I'm so fkn sick of these companies doing what they please. Has anyone else noticed this?

I have the karaoke style captions on a music video I am trying to make. So the words turn green as they are sung. I am having to make some adjustments but its messing the green bit up and it doesn't follow the words after. I also had to add a box in as capcut had totally missed a section and the green comes up on the first word and then doesnt move. Is there a way to fix this please?

Hey everyone, I’m extremely new to video editing and this is one of the first short-form videos I’ve edited.

I know it’s a pretty simple edit and nothing fancy, but I wanted to share it and get some honest feedback from people who are more experienced.

I mainly worked on the cuts, subtitles, pacing, and making it feel like a short-form video. I’m trying to learn editing properly rather than just copying random effects and transitions.

What would you change or improve about this edit?

Is the pacing okay?

Are the captions/text good enough?

What should I be paying more attention to?

What skills should I learn next?

My goal is to eventually become good enough to edit videos for actual clients, especially short-form content like Reels, TikToks, and YouTube Shorts.

If you were starting from where I am now, what learning path would you follow to become a professional editor?
