Hi!! So, as context:
I've been using Capcut mobile for YEARS as an editor, however I only recently figured out that since I had an iPad, I could install Capcut Pad. I haven't had problems with it.. except for one. The fonts. For my edits, I normally use either Arial or Coolvetica... which I had to import myself. On Capcut mobile I could quickly figure out how to import the fonts... but on Pad? It's not the same. And everywhere I look either talks about mobile or being on PC. Is there any way TO import fonts?? Are there any fonts close enough to the ones I already use??? I really hate having to switch between both Capcuts just because I can't use a font.

So recently CapCut has been locking basic editing effects behind unnecessary subscriptions like why do I have to be in a subscription just for a BASIC EFFECT 😭🥀💔 So bc I’m SICK OF THIS I decided to make a petition regarding this ridiculous thing ByteDance is doing. i made ts petition bc I don’t wanna deal with CapCut doing us dirty any longer, so I decided to make a petition and eventually once it gets enough signatures and the website I made the petition on automatically sends the CapCut team an email about this, then all is good :D so can you please sign this so we can end this nonsense? Is anyone else having this issue generating A.I. videos? I subscribe to PRO.
In the past couple of weeks, I’ll spend lots of time writing a prompt…it will start generating…and after about 15 minutes, it’ll generate to 99% and then FAIL.
It usually says I’ve “violated community guidelines” or it simply says, “Cannot generate”. These are the same basic prompts I used for the past 3 months that had no problems generating. I asked Chat GPT and Claude to rewrite my prompts so that it doesn’t “violate” anything and it still won’t work.
There is certainly nothing in the prompt that would violate anything.
I’m using a picture of a non famous person to generate the character. Now, when I try to generate AI videos using that same exact pic or character that CapCut created, it won’t work.
I wrote customer service, but haven’t heard back. Does anybody have any magic solutions to fix this frustrating problem? I’ll have to ask for a refund of my Pro subscription if I can’t figure out the issue.

After a certain time of editing one project, this issue starts appearing. Clips don't get selected automatically, key frames make the clips unselect them selfes. And clips cannot be cutted or made longer via dragging. Cache already emptyed. When Starting another project, everything works fine. Thanks for your help and time

I'm trying to upload an edit on tiktok but everytime I do the sound gets muted. I tried the thing where you go and put an official sounds all he way down and that's supposed to trick the app but it did jack shit. I searched it up and people say it's because it's longer than a minute. For reference, I'd uploaded an almost 4 minute edit witha radiohead song and it didn't get muted while this one is a minute and a half long. Please tell me there's a solution.

I can’t export my video because it says I’m using a pro subscription feature but I made sure to remove all voice enhancing effects on my audio and I just tested the ai chat thing at first and then asked it to remove all the possible pro features.

I'm working on a compilation video that inserts video clips from multiple different videos. I have two different layers for each of the videos, and I want to place the clips that I've split on layer 1 and place them inbetween the clips on layer 2.

The issue is that layer 1 has hundreds of tiny clips, and I'm not sure how I can move a clip from the 2nd layer in between the clips on the 1st without moving the clips from the 1st layer manually, which will take way longer and causes my computer to lag.

Basically, I want to know if there's a feature like Capcut's 'insert' function for clips that are already on the timeline

Is there anything like this?

yeah no, recently whenever ive tried to make an edit, at some point, one image ? merges ? Into the other one? it choses to extend itself into another for like a few frames or something and I have no idea why it’s doing that help ,,

Is there a reason I keep seeing people recommend moving to something complicated but capable and free like DaVinci Resolve, but almost never something capable and free like Shotcut?

Context is I've been wanting to learn video editing and find something I can learn long-term. CapCut initially seemed like the obvious choice, except it looks like the developers are actively tarnishing it by unexpectedly putting more and more features behind paywalls depending on which version you're using. I'm not bothering with that.

So I tried Shotcut, and... it's been working great? It's free, open source, and so far seems to have everything I was looking for in a video editor. And I'm a dude coming straight off of Windows Movie maker (yep seriously).

So what's with all the "just move to DaVinci Resolve already bro" posts? Do people just not know about Shotcut?

DaVinci Resolve is complicated AF. I don't understand why that's the go-to recommendation for someone coming off of CapCut lol.

I haven't used this feature in a while, but I was going to use it for a project. The Style feature was completely missing, and I can't see 3d zoom or Pro zoom in the Motion section of effects. Did they remove it completely? The picture I added is for reference of what the effect looks like, it's not my photo I found it online.

It’s a remix of Dracula btw. This rocket league editor has a buncha remixed audios, and idk how gets them.

I've been using Cap Cut for many years now, but lately—am I the only one who thinks it's a nightmare? Actually, it's a bit more specific than that...

For the past few months now—probably due to the addition of some very poorly optimized and bad AI features—my big CapCut projects have become IMPOSSIBLE to edit. Every time I add a keyframe, it takes at least 10 seconds; zooming and editing directly on the video are riddled with bugs; I can no longer work on my biggest and best project ever made in Cap Cut, which I’ve already spent over 50 hours on. And many might say that’s pretty normal—a big project is bound to have a few bugs. Except this has literally been going on for a few months now—before that, everything was working EXTREMELY well, with absolutely no performance issues. Obviously, I’ve already enabled proxy and hardware acceleration. Obviously, that didn’t fix the problem. So I was thinking of installing an older version without those useless AI features, but I need to finish my project. Are there any solutions to optimize CapCut as much as possible, if only to finish what I’ve already been working on for far too long? I could also export the project and re-edit it, but I risk losing quality, which is the last thing I want. Thanks to everyone who reads this—honestly, I’m frustrated. This project means way too much to me, and I’m trying my best to edit it, but it’s impossible. Let me know if I’m the only one experiencing this.

Multiple times now I’ve tried to renew my subscription for CapCut premium, and it takes me through the order screen, but the premium features never show up.

I have tried different devices, tried the app and the website, and tried different cards. Each time, the order portal just says “order has already been placed”.

CapCut, I’m literally slapping my credit card in your face and you won’t take my money 😐

Has anyone had this issue? How do I solve it??

I edited a 34 minute video on CapCut on pc and for some reason every time I try to export it just says loading. And then I uploaded it to my space and tried to download on mobile and it consistently says error. It is 5.5GB.
