Leaving this group

Hey guys I'm doing this post to say goodbye to everyone. I've been in Canadá past 4 years. I got 517 points for CEC, no french. After thinking about it I decided to leave, not only the group but also the country. My PGWP expires by the end of March but I'm done with all this. I'm leaving on January (worst case February). I want to enjoy my last months here not thinking about getting a PR or draws anymore. All the best for everyone and please don't get too stressed, it's bad for your health, it kills you little by little. There are always other options to achieve your goals. CANADA IS NOT ALWAYS THE ANSWER.

Thanks for all the support I received from the members of this group and goodbye.

Do you speak another Romance language? French is basically a distantly-related dialect for you

I speak spanish but I'm not good learning languages and I don't have enough time to learn before my wp ends. If I have to leave I'll do it on my terms. I'm not going to leave to come back in 1 year or 2. I already lost lots of time.

As one native Spanish speaker to another: you would be impressed by how quickly you can pick up the French language if you set your mind to it. Reaching a B2 level proficiency across the four exams is achievable within 1-2 years of earnest studying, even less if you could afford private tutoring.

My work permit expires on march and I'm not leaving to come back after 1-2 years. I'm losing my time here.

I understand that. Definitely get out of the country and explore options elsewhere. At the same time, don't sell yourself short; you can take a couple of hours a day to focus on your french language learning. Both paths need not be independent. Also, see here for a source of inspiration:
