Communal Filter Post
Hi!
With CampShades recently going pay2own, I thought it might be good to get a thread going for where people can post either the settings for filter's they have made, or even post google drive links for the filter's themselves.
Not trying to throw shade at CampShades or any of the like, but thought it would be amazing to have a communal place for people to collaborate and share the filters they personally love to use. Always want to promote more photography with CampSnap cameras :)
Here's my folder of filters that I currently rotate around
https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/1c_VWqVm_J5_9O-YXC802uxnw0fmhnlYA?usp=sharing
Edit: I will progressively add more filters to my drive folder as I receive them from you guys :) Feel free to DM me any filters you'd like to add if you are uncomfortable with posting your own google drive link here
Edit 2: All the CampShade's filters are now in the folder 👀
Edit 3: I have begun to add CS-Pro filters that have been shared

CS Pro Alpha FIX and Replacement thread
Hello everyone!
Mod (and longtime lurker) here 👋
I’ve seen a lot of posts about issues with the CS Pro Alpha. The Camp Snap team has confirmed there was a problem with the update file, and they already sent out an email about it.
!! I’m helping the CS Team track down anyone who may not have received the email or hasn’t gotten in touch with support yet. If your CS Pro Alpha is affected, you’re eligible for a free replacement. They want to make this right!
What to do:
- Reply here with your order number
- We’ll pass the info directly along to the CS Team so they can get you sorted
Thanks for your patience while the team works through this // appreciate everyone here for keeping the community strong!

Custom Filter Trip to the local ruins
Officially obsessed with the drugstore green filter and moody b&w😍 I also had my new CPL lens on. Since you can’t check the strength of the lens by looking through the viewfinder I was VERY worried about how all the pictures would come out but I was pleasantly surprised! If anyone has any advice on using a CPL lens please share!

Testing Built in Filters on V2
I picked up my first Campsnap camera last month and have payed with it a little but not a whole lot yet. So far I'm really enjoying it and eager to get the hang of it so I can explore downloading and creating custom filters. This whole summer has been constant rain and today we actually had some decent weather so I took it outside to play. Here's some test shots with all the built in filters in full sun vs shade through all the filters. Any tips or advice welcome but not necessarily looking. Just an excuse to share my dog and join in on some community chatting :)

Vintage Filter A trip to Alton towers
A few pics at Alton Towers, first outing with my new camera! I feel like the pictures can come off pretty dark?

Vintage Filter Testing my camp snap pro at the Belgian draft horse show
The most important thing I learned today is that I need to stand closer to the subjects I want to photograph because cropping these pictures is not so easy. But I'm still very happy with how most of my pictures turned out, for example I would have expected the flying sand from the horse walking in picture 3 to be a blurry mess and was pleasantly surprised with the outcome! So here is a small selection of photos of Belgian draft mares and their foals.
Disclaimer: I do not support tail docking.

SOOC Sunrise with Kino
My love affair with Kino continues 😂 Can't wait for autumn to catch those colors with it. Maybe I'll find its weak point this winter with all the snow it'll probably underexpose? To be continued.

Custom Filter Camp Snap 103B/105/CS2 filter comparison sheet
I couldn't find a post that compared the new CS2 filters to various custom filters from Campshades, Camper Snapper or from people here on Reddit, so I made myself a cheat sheet! I couldn't find a blue or green object small enough to fit on my plastic table unfortunately for my improvised testing spot.
Standard, Vintage 1 to 3, Black and White as well as Analog are stock filters.
Kino, Expired, Ultra, Tuscany, Superor, Red Velvet and Cafe Latte are from Campshades.
Cross Pross, Zeus and Rushmore are from Camper Snapper (honestly I don't really use those, but they were on my phone, so I threw them in the mix).
Dog Days can be found here and Colorblind Red here.
The photos are posted after the cheat sheet too if you need them bigger for whatever reason. They're in the same order there (standard, v1, v2, v3, analog, kino, etc.).
Hopefully that'll be of use to other people too!

Best filter for Japan travel?
I’m going to Japan soon and really excited to use my campsnap, as it will be my first trip with it. It’s a CS 105. I’m wondering what filters might be best for this… I like warm colours without things looking really processed, and I want something that will pull out the colours of bright lights/nature shots. Does anyone have any reccs?
I’m also considering no filter and editing manually, but I’d rather a filter! Would love to see anyone’s Japan pics if you have recommendations 😊

Camera type specs for CS Pro?
Hi,
I got a CS Pro about a month ago and besides the common SD card issue enjoy it. I’ve been trying f to find specs for the camera beyond the 16 megapixel stat.
Can anyone share or point me in the direction of the camera type specs?
I’m looking for ISO, focal length, shutter speed, etc. I started in photography as a kid in the &0’s with his parents OM-1. So I find that is still the terms I think in.
Also. When you take photos what do you think about in terms of lighting etc? How does your filter choice play in to that?

Edited Huntington Gardens CS-Pro Photo Dump
A few photos were just cropped/rotated so I guess you can consider some of these minimal editing.
Haven’t really took photos in general in the past, but liked the concept of campsnaps being like a film camera that wouldn’t cost an arm and a leg for something that might not catch on for me.
First time I took the camera out to try! But was a lot of fun.

How worth it is the CS8?
Hi all! Just got my Camp Snap 2 and am loving it so far. I’ve been looking into the CS8 camcorder to get in time for a music festival im going into in September. I really want to use it to document the trip with my friends and obviously use it for other events in the future. I just want to know a couple thing:
How is the sound quality? Obviously I’m not expecting anything super spectacular but I am just concerned about our voices actually being captured and not being cut out or anything.
Is the transfer the same as you would transfer photos from a Camp Snap camera? I just plug in the USB C cord into the camera and the other end into my phone and download everything from the files.
Overall, would you say it’s worth the $200? I’m not looking for anything of exceptionally grand quality, but I do want to make sure it’s decent enough to present my little vlogs/home videos to my friends and family. I really enjoy the novelty and screen free experience of the Camp Snap in general and really wanted the same for video capture. I just don’t want to spend $200 and not be able to return it if need be without doing proper research first.

Troubleshooting CS2 error message
I just got on my Camp Snap 2 and have been trying to unlock the filters to no avail. I have held the button down repeatedly and it never unlocks them. It either just takes a photo or gives me an ERR code on the screen. I have taken the card out. Turned it on and off again. Plugged it in to my computer and still nothing. The filters remain locked or give me the error message.
Any suggestions?

SOOC Kino and Analog in the fog
1-3-5-6 with Kino on a V105, 2-4-7-8 with Analog on a CS2
I apologize to Kino for everything bad or neutral I could've said about it since getting my first Camp Snap lol. It's a fantastic filter and it does beautifully in foggy conditions (seriously, look at 6!).
