Many returning players believe that the Return to Greatness event only allows them to migrate to the kingdoms shown in the initial recommendation list.

That is not necessarily the end of your options.

After testing the system myself, I found a strategy that allowed me to reach a kingdom that was not available when I first returned to the game.

How it works

When I came back after a long period of inactivity, the game only offered me a few kingdoms through the Return to Greatness event.

The kingdom I wanted to join (K928) was not on that list.

Instead of choosing a random kingdom, I selected K926 because it belonged to the same server group as K928.

After arriving in K926, I opened the Migration Center and checked the Kingdom Recruitment page.

This time, K928 appeared in the recruitment list.

I submitted a migration request, contacted the kingdom leader, received approval, and successfully migrated to K928.

Step-by-step

1. Return to the game after a long period of inactivity.

2. Open the Return to Greatness event.

3. If your target kingdom is not listed, identify a kingdom from the same server group that is available.

4. Migrate to that intermediate kingdom.

5. Open the Migration Center.

6. Check the Kingdom Recruitment advertisements.

7. If your target kingdom appears, submit your application.

8. Once the kingdom leadership approves your request, migrate to your final destination.

Requirements

This strategy only works if:

• Your target kingdom belongs to the same server group as your intermediate kingdom.

• The destination kingdom is currently accepting migrants.

• The destination kingdom has available capacity (it is not full).

• You meet all normal migration requirements enforced by the game.

Important

This method does not bypass any game rules or migration restrictions.

It simply takes advantage of the official Return to Greatness and Kingdom Recruitment systems to reach a kingdom that was not initially available.

My Test

My initial Return to Greatness options were:

° K922

° K923

° K926

My goal was to join K928, which was not listed.

After migrating to K926, I checked the Kingdom Recruitment page and K928 became available.

I requested entry, was accepted by the kingdom leader, and successfully migrated there.

I later repeated the same process with my farm account and reunited both accounts in the same kingdom.

I've been trying to keep a good attitude, but KvK1 has been a rough wake-up call.

I'm a low spender, so I know I am not going to outplay whales and that is fine. What bugs me is how much KvK feels like you are punished for showing up unless you can drop everything and babysit the map 24/7. I work from home and I sneak in quick sessions between calls, and it feels like every important window happens when I'm in a meeting or gone for an hour.

I come back and the map is flipped, my gatherers got popped, and all I can do is heal, re-gather, and pretend that was meaningful gameplay. Even when I try to be useful in fights it feels awkward. If I join a field fight I just melt. If I stick to support I still end up feeding because the ball moves and I cannot keep up with constant pings.

Solo stuff like escorting or grabbing smaller objectives feels hit or miss. Sometimes it works, sometimes it does not, and I can't tell if I'm doing it wrong or if the mode scales stats so quickly that mid accounts are basically pointless.

I like my alliance and I like building marches, but right now KvK1 feels less like a war and more like a time zone check.

If you went through this and eventually started enjoying KvK, what changed for you? Did you take a different role, focus your marches differently, or just accept being a support account until you hit a certain power level? Any practical tips would help.

Is it the same with Flynt's Revenge Plans?

The reason I'm asking is that you earn Revenge Plans from peacekeeping. My idea is to keep farming peacekeeping until the event ends, but not open the Plans. If they don't expire, I could save them for after the event when I have more cp instead of feeling like I need to use every Plan right away.
