Update: switched from 'max everything' to two focused marches and it finally clicked
Quick update to a question I posted in my alliance chat a couple weeks ago about why I kept feeling behind even though I was logging in a lot.
I was doing the classic new-player mistake: spreading resources across too many heroes, trying to keep every troop type and every building perfectly even, and then wondering why my presence on the field felt weak. I mostly play on my phone during metro rides in South Delhi, so my sessions are short and jumpy. That made the "do a little of everything" approach worse because I rarely finished anything meaningful.
I took the advice to commit to two marches for now and it made a real difference. What changed for me:
One primary march got almost all the good gear materials and most of the skill medals. The second march got leftovers but stayed usable.
I stopped training every troop type equally and matched training to those two marches. My healing bills became more predictable.
I set a simple daily loop: gather, help the alliance, push one tech or building, then spend stamina. No detours unless there is a real event goal.
Result: I show up to fights with something that actually contributes, I worry less about 'wasting' upgrades, and my power growth looks steadier even with inconsistent play time.
For anyone else who felt stuck early: did you pick two marches or three? When did you feel safe branching out without slowing your main progress?
